Whats with the Velasquez fuss?It was a tune up and Pac responded exactly as he should, by destroying the practice fighter...MAB on the other hand(and is should say Oscar too) has the shame to put Fana and Peden on PPV!

And yes, Pac has issued the challenge to MAB to redeem himself but looks like MAB keeps hiding behind the skirt of Golden Boy.So they just go different ways.Pac went after Marquez and Morales while MAB went after Fana and Peden...

i have totally lost respect for MAB.Pak_Men may be righ, MAB is a coward... ;P

NAH MAB is a COWARD and a ****HOLE. PAC issued challenges up his ass for many years now and all he does is fight noobs like Fana and Peden.

MAB has the balls to show to the public how much of a coward and a noob basher he is.

WHen they meet again, PAC is gonna destroy him so good, it's not far off he gets brain damage.

LAST FIGHT THIS IS WHAT PAC DID TO COWARD MAB
Floored him 3 times. He got several cuts. his lips were bruised. He got black eyes all over and his face is all swollen and skimpy.

      Next time.... brain damage. lol!

**** me, for someone who came on, bitched about this thread and tried to get on a soapbox Run/W Knives sure contributed to a lot of pages. That's the best way to let threads that are "damaging the forum" die, right?

Oh, something I should have said last night, Run/W - if someone wants to complain about my threads then they should really be the forum owner or a moderator. If it's anyone else they need to shut the Hell up and stay out of it.

Well, Barrera deserves more respect than this. This is all I ask. Yes, he has fought 2 easy fighters but Barrera is not the match maker. Remember that. Golden Boy or whoever it is who sets up the matches are the ones to blame. Barrera is no coward.

Is that a threat? Bring it on, whatever. If someone in charge tells me they don't approve of the thread, no problem, I'll act on it. But get off the soapbox already... if I want to hear a preacher I'll go to church.

I like watching him fight, but have seen many things done by him that strike me as "little", for a man. It all started with the infamous sucker punch during the press conference with Morales. From there he's just gotten worse. He's a good fighter, but not much on integrity and/or character.

                  Barrera boxing for noble cause

By George Willis of the New York Post
While Marco Antonio Barrera was preparing to beat up Mzonke Fana in El Paso,Texas, last april, the WBC super featherweight champion spent a day touring nearby Juarez,Mexico. It was a casual visit that became a life changing experience.During his tour of the border town, one of the most popular mexican fighters of all time, was approached by hundreds of well-wishers.But it was a group looking for his help that caught his attention. They came representing "The Women of Juarez."An estimated 450 woman have been gang-****d and murdered, their bodies mutilated and dumped in the desert, over the past 13 years. The murders continue to this day as mexican law enforcement shows little interest in solving the crimes. Most of the women are from poverty-factory workers lured to Juarez to earn $24 a week.It is uknown who is commiting the murders.Suspects ranging from members of drug cartels to bus drivers have been questioned and even jailed, but the killings continue."Marco was asked if he would assist by putting on a concert or taking part in a march," said Robert Diaz,Barrera's adviser."But he wanted to do something more."You've heard the phrase,"Fighting for a good cause."Barrera will be doing exactly that tonight when he meets IBF super featherwight champion Robbbie Peden in a unification bout at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. At Barrera's insistence, part of the proceeds from ticket sales and pay-per-view buys will go to orphans of the Woman of Juarez.Barrera also commisioned a braclet that reads "Ni Una Mas," or "Not One More."The braclets are being sold during fight week with proceeds going to the orphans.Barrera fights for Golden Boy Promotions, and owner Oscar De La Hoya has said he'll match the amount of money raised during the fight."The money will assist in the housing and living conditions of the children and help with their education," Diaz said."It can make a great impact on people's lives."In addition to Barrera-Peden,the HBO pay-per-view card($44.95) offers former champion Sugar Shane Mosley,a welterweight again, going agains unbeaten Jose Luis Cruz."This fight is going to show the work i've been putting in," Mosley said."I'm excited.i can't wait."

Jeeezuz. Now THAT is depressing news. Hope they catch the bastard. I bet he's American though. America has more serial killers than any other place.

no disrespect to manny pacqauio, he is a good fighter and a fighter i like but some things hes fans say are just silly, brain damage for a boxer aint even funny yet people post stuff like manny will give barrera brain damage, etc.. if people think barrera is a coward or scared, fair enough, but barrera and pacquiao are good fighters, pacman beat barrera, he beat him well so why do some pacman fans still want a rematch? if anything it should be barrera fans who should be demanding a rematch, pacman never has to fight barrera again and neither does barrera have to fight pacman again, barrera no matter what anyone says will go down as a legend, hes already a living legend, a three weight champion and has beaten top fighters in his career.

you dont get people saying pacquiao is a chicken or hes scared to fight the 2 people that he lost to earlier on in his career by KO, you dont hear people saying pacman will get brain damage if he fights the 2 people again that KO'd him. some people need to show respect, its all good sayin pacman will win if they fight again, fair enough, people will respect opinions, but dont be saying stuff like pacquaio will give barrera brain damage or put him in a hospital, just look at what happened to laevender johnson, stuff like that aint even funny, its serious.
