just because her boyfriend is smaller than my 7 yr. old nephew , doesn't mean you can take advantage whenever you want.

last night was not just VINTAGE El Terrible, it was vintage greatness

like everyone and their mothers here and the rest of the boxing world, everyone who tuned into that ppv, tuned in to see a train wreck...a public execution at the hands of Marcos Maidana...i'm not afraid to admit that i was against the fight the moment it got signed but Erik Morales, once again, proved everyone wrong

the old, faded, flabby, sick-looking Morales vs the young badass in boxing

total mismatch? sure...anyone with common sense could see this was a case where ego was gonna get Erik killed...maybe even literally

but something happened on the way to the ring...

it became the Young Badass vs the OLD Badass in boxing except El Terrible added his touch to it...it became

The Young Badass vs the GREAT, Old Badass of boxing

a passing of the torch instead became a giant flame in the ring and we were treated to a fight and performance that is the stuff that legends are made of

to pull what El Terrible did will be talked about for years to come...to do all that with his eye basically drooping onto his cheek is pure balls...balls and heart...but that's Morales for you

last night, you forget all the other bull**** about the sport that pisses you off and you are glad that you are a fan

      thank you, Morales!
Green K. Well put my man.

Morales last night reminded me why I watch boxing in the first place. **** the pac and floyd bull****, **** the K bros, **** amir khan, **** joe calzaghe. Morales stepped up to the plate at 34 years old shot to hell and put his heart and soul into that performance.

man when it started and morales looked so 'bloated' compared to his prime scrawny frame and maidana looked like a lion licking his chops, i was nervous

but morales was BEAST last night... one of, if not my favorite performances in a loss to date.

he was everything i love about boxing for that one night

those first couple of rounds where Maidana was just going to work on Morales were harsh...thudding, relentless shots...eye starts to swell...then the old Warrior emerged and we had a helluva fight

yeah, they even kinda called it... he looked pretty rusty at first, almost like maidana was gonna end it early... and im sure now he wishes he could/would have. morales has the stones man, what can i say

people keep talking about maidana's conditioning and stamina

that has nothing to do with his wide loopin shots being no answer to morales beautiful straight, crisp punches right down the middle!
