    El Terrible Vs Maidana, Honesty

In The back of my mind I didn't want to see what happened to Jose Luis Castillo happen to Erik Morales. Castillo had fought 5 Rds with Gomez back on march 13,2010 to only be get beat down by a younger fighter.

That scenario along with the Gamboa vs Mtagwa Fight kept replaying itself over and over, where Gamboa blew the older Mtagwa out the water quick.

As the 1st round played out I kept saying if Morales can weather the early part of the storm Marcos will tire and it will be his time to shine. Morales eye starts to swell and I was like its not over, then the veteran proceeded on and for one night looked like his younger self...He had me at movie theatre moment, you know

when youre cheering for the hero to win.....all in all was a great fight,i just wish morales would have got the nod.

Morales got hit hard, but raised his gloves and wanted more...true Atg

JLC isn't great like Morales. Duran, George Foreman has company.

morales is lucky that maidana is a limited brawler with no skills. morales' skills, experience, and defense made the fight close, but he should not entertain fighting anyone faster or more skilled.
