    In my opinion he is the greatest Middlweight Champion of all time.

    This is a Boxing forum, not a humanity forum. Who cares what he did outside the ring? All that matters on here is what happens in BOXING.

    It's like when I was asked why I don't have Tyson and Ali #1 an #2 of all time at HW recently because they are ****** like me.

    It's ****ing idiotic.
    this.

    on another note, do u think monzon was greater at middleweight than even hagler??? i thinks its really close between those two. i always give the nod to hagler but it would have been something to see those two fight.

        I do, personally.

        My top 5 Middleweights are;

        1. Monzon
        2. Greb
        3. Hagler
        4. Robinson
        5. Fitzsimmons

        The top four are interchangable IMO. I have no issue with anyone having any of those four #1 at Middleweight.

        It would have been one hell of a match up, absolutely.

          i havent seen much of greb but ive heard a lot about him at middle/light heavy. i definitely need to do some research on him.

          im familiar with robinson and fitzsimmons of course and i agree with your assessment. besides heavy, id say middleweight is historically the most talent laden division in boxing.

            Neither has anyone. There is no footage of him. But there is more than enough reading to do on him to identify his greatness, I would definitely recommend you look into his career.

            Many historians disagree with my view on Fitzsimmons. Hell, many excellent posters on this website do also, but to each it's own I guess. Personaly I find it very difficult to rank him outside the Top 5 at Middleweight, but again that's merely my opinion.
