DLH-Floyd would have never happened unless Oscar said so...that was Oscar's cherrypick

when Roy got to shot-callin level, he cherrypicked a HW

when Floyd got to shot-callin level, he cherrypicked a LW
B*tch when was the last time Dlh didnt call the shots until Pacquiao? Floyd's shot callin also included Hatton and Mosley dum dum. You stop cherrypickin facts.

He went on to fight Mosley who all the haters on this site said he wouldn and i remember a certian fighter/trainer turning down Mosleys offer to fight them even at a catchweight if i remember correctly...

why cant we celebrate to great fighters, Roy and floyd without nitpicking everything.

return from his what? what was that? one of his multiple retirements?

you people want to talk about 'body of work' well you know what, no pouty retirements from Roy's 'body of work'

Roy has the best resume of any fighter since Ali when you consider how he won fights(90% shutouts). Oh and can we kill this myth that Hopkins wasn't in his prime. B-Hop is my favorite of all time but since when is 28 years old not your prime. Roy beat B-Hop in one sided fashion while B-Hop was in his prime deal with it and stop trying to discredit an all time great win

Also EVERY SINGLE BOXER Roy beat at light heavy was ranked when Roy beat them how the hell is that cherry picking

He wanted a break from the sport...nothing wrong with that imo. Leonard took 3 yrs out, Ali or Cassius Clay was out due to his beliefs for years, Foreman came back after like 8 yrs was it, doest that make him less of a man/fighter for doing so?

I agreed earlier and in all my posts Roy was a great fighter...Im not going to comment on who is the best of all time as i did not witness Sugar Ray Robinson etc...imo u can only judge the fighters of ur era. Roy was the best of the 1990s. Floyd was the best of the 2000s...thats just my opinion

Im a huge Hopkins fan, and a huge fan of Roys also (who couldn be), i reluctantly agree that a prime Roy edges Hopkins cause his just to slick...but its a close one...Hopkins was not the finished article when they fought, but so was arguably roy, but prime v prime i gaive the nod to Roy in a close decision...2 ATG's

I respect the skills no doubt and just count it as a straight win over Bhop. Im just on the other side of the argument. I just think if one or two fights can be considered better than a career of comp then we've got to redo the whole ATG list and add Tarver and Glenn johnson and a host of others that beat top guys. That doesnt make much sense does it? I like Camacho but how high is he on the list in reality?

                  Since Ali? No comment.

B-Hop wasn't in his prime and Roy didn't dominate him.

B-Hop was in his prime and went on a 12 year undefeated streak after the fight. Roy just made him look bad
