he is right. Chavez retired undefeated vs Puerto Ricans but never fought Molina. Chavez beat Juan Laporte, hammered Hector Camacho, destroyed Angel Hernandez, and Edwin Rosario. He went 4-0 vs Puerto Ricans. Sal Sanchez as undefeated versus Puerto Ricans as well.

He's not right cause the rivalry started before that...& the same way those Mexicans fighters u mentioned went undefeated against Boricuas is the same way Tito Trinidad, Benitez & Carlos Ortiz went undefeated against Mexicans & we could go on & on & on.......

When I said he is right the "he" is you. You were right that Chavez never beat Molina. I didn't say that Sanchez-Gomez was the start of the rivalry. It is however to this day the biggest fight in the rivalry. Chavez didn't fight Molina but he probably confused that with when Oscar beat Molina (and Rivera, Camacho and Trinidad) and went undefeated versus Puerto Rican fighters but Oscar is Mexican American so he doesn't count.

So when is Showtime going to pick up these little guys and show some Segura fights. He's moving up in weight and his fighting style almost guarantees some two way action. Don't ignore the little guys anymore...

tito never fought a great mexican fighter though. Don't even bring up ODLH because hes not a top 10 mexican fighter....

THe only kind of fighter that was going to trouble Tito would be a slick boxer. Nobody on that list would survive 12 rounds with Tito. It's just luck of the draw that certain fighters did not fight certain fighters.

And you may not think so, but DLH was a great fighter. It is very likely that a young DLH destroys even Salvador Sanchez. Don't underrate the fishnet fury.

Well yea, but no matter what the scores were DLH outbox titos ears off, i still count dat as mexican- mexican american win, i think we all kno who really won dat fight, Arum n don
King had everything set up for a rematch n a major payday for them, but DLH was smart enough to not make them money no more

Sanchez was 126 and DLH started at 130 so you can't make the argument. Sanchez is a top 25 fighter of all time and DLH isn't.

Fighters like Barrera, Marquez and Morales never fought any Puerto Ricans because PR didn't have any decent fighters at 122-135 at the time. Even Arce didn't get one until this May vs Vazquez when Arce is shot. Finito Lopez beat the only Rican he ever fought. Just not enough depth in Puerto Rican boxing.
