I called it as a late TKO so I was off by a T.
Very impressive knockout of a solid experienced fighter in Peter. Whatever Helenius's faults he can ****, might possibly, in fact, be the hardest puncher in the heavyweight division. His footwork was good for the most part, and he was picking his power shots well. I still think his jab looks a bit weak and he let Peter get on the inside too much. In future he needs to learn to tie guys up effectively or pivot them off to the side, the way Lennox used to do. And if he's going to fight so stiff backed, he really needs to ram that jab into opponents' faces not just paw it out there. If this sounds like I'm being harsh it's just because I believe this guy has the potential to be a real live contender and would like to see him develop into the best he can be.
Pretty good fight though, all told. Predictably, people are now calling Peter a bum, that he's finished etc. Wouldn't surpise me if someone called him glass jawed as well. It would've been nice to have seen Peter come in in better condition, but he was doing some good work in there, bobbing his head and attacking aggressively when he had Helenius's back against the ropes. His limit's pretty much been reached though, and he's now little more than the Edison Miranda of the heavyweight division.
One more thing, I can't believe Helenius is only 230 something pounds. He dwarfed the very stocky Peter in there.
