LOL @ Froch trying to buy things his way. Some here say they should do it in Nottingham because the crowd will be bigger - I'm sure in a tournament as important as this for all the fighters careers, the last thing some of them care about is size of the crowd versus a neutral venue. I mean really, let's say Johnson agrees to fight in Nottingham and he looses by outlandish hometown judges scoring... do you really think he would look back and say "I lost to a B.S. hometown decision, but hey look what a great crowd was there." Uh, no. Judges are already known to give a close decision to Johnsons opponent time and time again - perhaps because of his record, who knows. But to me, this is is so typical Carl "I'll quit if" Froch, who has resulted now in trying to pay $$$ to get his way. Sorry Rome, I know Froch is your dude, but I think this kind of thing is the exact reason why so many dislike Froch. "I'll quit if I have to fight in Germany", "I'll quit if I don't get a private jet", "Poor me, Poor me, Poor me...", and now "I'll pay to have things in my favor". Except for Ward (which I am not saying is right), everyone has had the exact same situation throughout the tourney, but you don't hear them constantly crying about it and acting like they deserve more than the others. That's why the rules get laid out BEFORE the tournament starts (although we can all agree they should have had ALL the fights at neutral venues) so everyone knows what to expect before hand. When Froch fought Taylor in the U.S. and won he was asked if he was afraid before hand of fighting in a hostile (hometown) environment, and he said 'No, I'm a true champion and I've proved that I can go anywhere and still come out with the win' - however when he fought Kessler, and before the scores were even announced, he said to Rachel 'Those bastards are going to give him the hometown decision'. Carl knows how important it is to fight in Nottingham, with case in point - Froch versus Dirrell (in Nottingham) close fight goes to Froch, Froch versus Kessler (not in Nottingham) close fight goes to Kessler. Froch might just as well say "Showtime, I'll buy the decision against Johnson in Nottingham for $250K". That would be round 1 to Froch, especially for Johnsons hard luck track record for loosing close decisions that should have gone his way.

Too bad Johnson probably won't even fight it being in Nottingham. I see Glen "The Road Warrior" Johnson as being the "true champion", as he has literally fought his fights all around the world, and unfortunately he came up with some bad decisions. But, you don't hear him b1tching about it....

    / End rant.

Froch is the man. End of. He's just trying to make it an event for his fans who've payed a lot of money to travel to see him in the past, some of whom can't this time.

If he doesn't get home-court, he'll still fight. Quit your bitching.

the last thing the super 6 needs is its 3rd robbery, in which all would involve Froch

Froch knows that Johnson is gonna be in his chest all night. I honestly think Froch should've gotten the decision against Kessler. But the reason I give Johnson a chance to beat him is that he is a good inside fighter unlike Kessler is. And I don't think the Kessler-Froch fight was a highway robbery either. Could've gone either way.

HAHAHAHHA.....I knew it. Froch is scared to face Johnson, he needs that hometown advantage in case it goes to a decision. See, this is all because of Ward and his team's unwillingness to fight anywhere but Cali. Froch sees how Ward always gets the decision and always has the home advantage.....so now, how is it fair to Froch that he has to fight outside of his hometown? That's why teachers say that you must be fair across the board because if you bend the rules for one guy, you have to do it for everyone.

Johnson is going to work Froch over and he knows it....he is going to get beaten up by the old Road Warrior and then Johnson is going into Cali to stomp a mud hole into the "Cali Kid"...that is what his name should be.

He should have. I scored it for Kessler live, but I wasn't scoring closely. Rewatching and scoring, I had 4 different cards after 4 viewings; 2 Froch wins, 2 draws, I couldn't find a way to give it to Kessler.

And, yeah; I anticipate Johnson gives Froch a hard night, if he's near full strength at 168 (hard to guage on Green alone, though Glen looked good).

                  Look, you fools.

Carl is trying to get this fight at home for HIS LOYAL FANS, many of whom have lamented that they can't afford the expense of another overseas trip to support him after making 3 already.

He's doing this for his supporters, to make this an event for them. Would you prefer he didn't try to do everything he can to satisfy his supporters?

If he doesn't get it on home turf, he'll still fight. Quit the p*ssing and moaning, dumbasses.

froch acting like a biitch now. if he is gonna act ****y,then act ****y.... don't revert back into being a pusssy.

froch shouldn't be worried about getting robbed against johnson... johnson is the most robbed boxer of this generation.

I think froch knows that this is gonna be a tough as hell fight and he thinks he needs help from the hometown crowd and judges and ref to win this fight.... pathetic. he's acting more like a frenchman than a brit.
