the cotto catchweight 145lb i believe was only like a 1 pound difference in which cotto usually comes in at.. so i doubt 1,2 pounds make a difference
margarito came in at 150, pac came in like 144.. and to really think margarito would of won if it was at the full limit 154.. pac demolished him...
why are catchweights considered "bad" now since pac has been using them, when they have been perfectly acceptable in the sport of boxing for many years.. hypocrites i tell you

naah. cotto just came out recently and said nothing about himself being weight-drained. he said if he had to do it all over again he would do it differently like using the tactics he did in the early rounds, something to that effect. no mention of being weight-drained and all that **** usually perpetuated by clowns, well, that's usually because pac demolished the opponent. cotto was in tip top condition in that fight. you have eyes, you could see it for yourself, unless you're a moron with an iq of an amoeba. naah... but keep on embarrasssing yourselves. lol. keep 'em coming! btw, cotto is planning a rematch with pac.Last edited by tomhawq; 04-02-2011, 03:35 AM.

Fact is that manny did ask for catch weight..Would it have made a difference? Maybe not but it does not change the fact that he was looking for an advantage. Pac fans are always trying to justify the catch weights. it is what it is.

Let take Margo , for him to make that weight he would have to train at a lower weight for most of training at least in the last 3-4 weeks , that in itself lowers his training and recovery powers so it starts to wear you down the first sign is no snap sluggish ect , you can be super super fit when weight drained but you will be plodding with no snap in the fight , now as the fight gets near you are full on about your weight and by the time you dehydrate to make it the damage was already done , adding water right at the end will not compensate for weeks of making weight , the damage is already done .
Now if you think that is bulldust ask yourself why one of worlds leading trainers is so adamant on getting a lower weight for Pacs opponets fighting for titles , your nothing 1-2 pound with Cotto was a no fight if Cotto didnt agree , you still think it dont mean nothing to Roach ,,, lol he knows exactly what he doing forcing opponents to come in lower than the official limit for a WT ,,, come on blind Freddie could see whats going down .
