Lampley is a brilliant caller, when he's actually calling the action. Lately he's been getting too over excited. It's like he's been doing rails in the bathroom before the telecast.

^^^ This. I skimmed through this thread without even noticed that you and Soy have already pointed out the same thing that I've posted.

I was pretty bothered by how much they missed Bradley blocking and slipping punches and how many jabs and body shots he landed. The fight was close. I scored it close live, and scored it close upon rewatching.

And they are the only ones justifying this win, and the only ones still talking about it. They are also the only ones who make videos hating on Pacquiao on youtube, its like they cant stop talking about Pacman, this is what happens when you are a fanatic of a fighter, one thing you never see a Floyd fanboy do is criticize Floyd, I've seen Pacquiao fans diss Manny and tell him idiot why didnt you figh tharder! or get rid of that dumb ass in your group. But for Floyd fans whatever Floyd does makes him look like a genius! he is like the most successful business man in the world they put him to the level of Bill Gates.

Video isn't really about who won the fight, it is about the disgraceful job done by the HBO staff. I've seen the fight many times and score the fight 116-112 in favor of Pacquiao but I will be the first person to raise my hand in agreement when someone states that HBO did a shameful job.

The thread is about the bias commentary of HBO. Not about who won the fight. There is no denying that the HBO staff did a poor job on the commentary of this fight.

I have seen Primetime and HBO and their commentary was atrocious. I do want to see the Top Rank broadcast though, to see if it is really as biased for Bradley as people are claiming.

Like most other sane people that watched that fight (regardless of who you're fan off), I scored the fight 116-112 to Pacquiao. But the video highlights the terrible commentary by HBO. I did notice that they either completely ignored Bradley's work or talked about Pacquiao when he was either doing nothing or getting hit. I swear at one point, I thought I'd lost sound because it went silent because Bradley was having a very good spell. I checked the volume and the commentary came back as soon as Pacquiao decided to go to work.

What makes this so important is that Jim Lampley was the one carrying the crusade to one of the judges after this fight, only to be rightly told that his commentary didn't do much good to highlight what should be scored. So the controversy was easily deflected instead of highlighted further. Again, there is no question who should have got the nod (to me anyway), but the commentary was misleading, biased and at times downright dishonest. Play it straight, call it down the middle and maybe you'll be in a better position to critique the judging, guys.
