Sorry, I was telling jokes here yesterday and people were just all over me. I'm a little on edge.

I don't care if it doesn't make "fiscal sense." Marquez hammred on that ass, and everyone on Earth saw it expect 4 judges.

And they reason he wore that shirt is simple as that: Because the vast majority of boxing journalists have him winning both fights, and virtually unanimously agree that he bested Pac in the second fight.

The guy deserves the 3rd fight for those reasons alone. And with a decent cut of the purse.
Not true, plenty of people have one fight one way and the other fight another way. Personally I think they were both close as ****. I wouldn't have been mad if they went to marquez but they didn't. A judge in the first fight even admitted he made a scoring error, that makes it 2-0 pac. JMM won more rounds but unfortunately he kept getting knocked on his ass. U can't win a boxing match when u keep getting planted. Knock downs count just like rounds do. He has no one to blame but himself.

I think this fight will be an utter waste of time now, but hey, if floyd won't come to the table maybe he'll get his shot at redemption. We'll have to wait and see...

If you're too ****** to score a 10-6 round as a 10-6 round, then it's doubtful you were able to score the rest of the fight right either.

I agree with you and bigcursedawg, and Kellerman for that matter Marquez is a truly great fighter. He won both fights, and in the second fight (the first as well actually) he made Manny look inept in a couple of those later rounds.

I scored the first round 10-7, I deducted a point for punching JMM on the deck.

Not sure if I would deduct that point with the benefit of hindsight though ?

Maybe I have to watch it again, reaaal slow this time

I don't really give a **** about the subject, but I wouldn't believe **** Arum or GBP said if they paid me 1million dollars.

P4P both are full of ****, which is customary for promoters

If memory serves, the ref didn't even so much as warn pac about the punch after dropping Marquez. Which sadly left it up to the judges, who in hindsight seem like they were confused enough.

I'm with you though. (from what I remember) it was blatant, and (from what I remember) no warning or point deduction

I am not absolutely sure, as I say, I would have to watch it again, but you could be right.

If the punch was thrown as Marquez was on his way down, or if he was not actually on the deck, then Manny has the right to go for the kill.

It may have been blatant, but if so, it certainly was not ridiculously obvious, like say the Barrera/Marquez incident, where Marco held back, thought about it, and then threw the punch anyway

I will have to watch it again sometime, maybe 10-6 is correct.
