He can feel however he wants about his fans, but he shouldn't expect to have his country behind him when he makes statements like that.
He, at the very least, should be fighting for his legacy and quite honestly, both Pac and Mayweather will have a "what if" next to their names in the history books if they don't fight each other. Both would be considered the best fighter of our are, except for the fact they never fought each other, and the fact May is cutting his career short will give Pac a bit of a lead.

Since I'm sure you have.. prior to moving up to the Jr.(WW) division he had already faced two probable ATG's in Barrera and Morales and one possible (likely) ATG in JMM in the lower weights. Everything after that point was for legacy and the history books. Just because he can't get a fight going with a fighter who can't seem to get his personal affairs in order doesn't negate what Pacquiao has accomplished.
