Am I the only one who thinks this is an even fight? It seems like a lot of people on here are thinking that Juanma Lopez has no shot. Lets not get carried away here. Even though Gamboa is the flashier, and faster fighter, I think Lopez might be the more powerful fighter. He's been in 30 fights with 27 KO's. Not to mention he looks like he is big enough to fight at 140lbs. This will be a good fight and no blow out for either fighter.

this is the 3rd best fight in boxing that can be made imo (after pac-floyd & klit-haye).
can't wait.

it happens after whoever just recently fights. Gamboa didn't look too impressive in one or two of his previous fights and there were tons of "Gamboa would get KTFO" threads. If juanma destroys solido it will be the same. if he struggles it will be the opposite haha. it's comedy.

I think Juan Manuel Lopez has been in with the tougher competition, and so has the edge in experience by quite a bit, though I think in terms of sheer ability Lopez and Gamboa are close. I think Gamboa is faster, and uses his reflexes and agility as defense; I'm also not sure that is going to work again Juanma, who is fast himself. Gamboa also hits harder, but he's going to face a guy in Lopez who can quite clearly knock him out, too.
Lopez has already fought: Marquez, Concepcion, Luevano, Mtagwa, Penalosa, Medina, and Ponce De Leon - all guys who, while they may not be superstars, are very decent opposition for a budding fighter.
The better resume is clearly Juman Manuel Lopez's - and remember he's actually younger than Gamboa by a few years.
