Maybe because Mayweather-Martinez would be a lot like Mayweather-Marquez in reverse. There is no way Floyd can just jump up to 160 and fight an elite superfighter like Martinez and Floyd isn't going to want to **** around fighting some schlub (at least without a name) to see if he can handle the weight. He has a big frame...for welterweight. He'd be a tiny middleweight. If they could meet at 154, sure. That could work, but Martinez is still so much bigger.

First of all Martinez and Dibella themselves said that Pacquiao is too small. Martinez said that he won't fight at 168 because his body can't put on the extra muscle. Why should Pac do that when he doesn't need Martinez on his resume but Martinez needs Pac? Hypocrite.

Second of all Pacquiao will fight anybody including Martinez at 147.

Third of all Pacquiao is boxings cash cow and Martinez never sold a PPV in his life. If it dont make money then it dont make sense.

So if Martinez wants to fight Pacquiao then come to 147 and 90-10 split for Pacquiao. It will be Sergio's biggest payday and he will get more exposure in that one fight than in all this fights put together.

Fact: Martinez had said he would go to 154 to fight Manny Pacquiao.

Fact: Pacquiao fought for a 154 lbs. title in his last fight against Margarito who is physically taller and bigger than Sergio, also it is the same title that was held by Sergio and was forced to vacate to give to Pacquiao.

Fact : Sergio has never fought at 168 and his body isn't even accustumed to 160. Plus he hasn't fought in 147 in 10 years, a fight with Pacquiao makes sense at 154, Sergio would weight in even less than Margarito did at fight night.

because Marquez, Berto, Bradley, Khan, are also calling pacquaio out everyday...and outside of Bradley and Marquez who really wants to prove they are the best that Martinez, Berto all want the 15 million dollar payday that comes with pacquaio.


Bradley and Marquez should be the only fighter awarded since they are the only 2 out of the many fighters 2day that truely wants to prove that they are the best fighter out now. Every one else just want a payday and fame.

Also we all know pacquaio has the balls to fight martinez.

Floyd fans will say he's not ducking and dodging anybody, but here we are again with this same exact scenario.

There's a legitimate challenge, a tried and tested fighter that has a very good chance of beating Floyd, and there's nothing stopping them from fighting.... yet Floyd is nowhere to be found.

You guys have no excuses, there is absolutely zero reason why floyd shouldn't have already signed or is in the negotiating process with Sergio Martinez. Yet we already know it's never going to happen because Sergio has too much of a chance of beating him.
