He says Klitschko was avoiding the fight for nearly two years. The opportunity has finally come and he expects Solis to come through with a title win.

So let me get this right. He's been ready for 2 years? So after he beat Chauncy Welliver Klitschko decided he was scared and did everything not to fight? How is beating Welliver even get you a title shot? I thought Solis just became the mandatory like 3-4 months ago against Austin.

What relevance does this have to the thread subject?

You think this dude would've learned his lesson by now..saying **** like this will only land his fighter in the hospital with bed right next to Briggs.
Gomez was a lot better than Solis,(there is NO comparison), a cruiserweight champ for several years with about 10 defences all won by KO. Avery clever, mobile boxer with a KO punch. Klirschko nearly killed him.

About as much relevance as trying to figure out how a canary can fly and an elephant can't. Just like all CARLISLE'S posts, an intemperate Klitschko hater, or a perpetual grouch, don't know which.

He's always been the same. Hates almost everyone.

Solis doesn't ever bother to trash talk himself. If that mofo showed some real dedication and IF boxing was his passion he'd be a freaking beast@225lbs with hunger for success and legacy.

Are you kidding?????? Solis has been trash talking about the Klitchkos for years!!! Man, read the FKing boxing web sites for a change, like *********.com and maxboxing.com. Solis is arrogant as hell.

Not alot of people give credit to THE VICTORY he got over Gomez. He had only lost once on a fluke knockout & came into the bout with Vitali never to have been outboxed & a southpaw to boot. Seems like Gomez had all the professional pedigree.. yet Solis is being hyped up because of his amateur credentials. I don;t care if this guy has never lost in his brief professional career & won 90% of his amateur fights. Vitali has Never been close to being outboxed.... the closest margin was the Lewis fight & he won 2/3 of it. Solis is not going to be outlanding or outthrowing Vitali as no one's ever done that either.. Vitali will be first to get off his punches..the question here is will he connect like he usually does & thwart off Solis.. Solis' only chance & let's be realistic here is a dramatic knockout..overwhelming Vitali with speed or hope for a severe injury that hinders him.. Odlanier has a punchers chance if he can slip the jab & get inside.

So far only Sanders & Lewis were able to really tag Vitali & Lewis is one of the top 5 heavys of alltime & didn't have a big size disadvantage while Sanders was a rare super deceptive southpaw with power & speed. I believe Solis does have the talent & skill level to get his punches off against Vitali & if he can get inside & unleash quick flurries..we're going to have a war as Vitali is not one to let unanswered shots go through.. his instinct is always to fight back. Solis will have to take a few risks..he could stay outside with the high guard defense & survive all 12 rds or trust in his ability to get around the jab & try to come inside.... by doing so.. he'll be in danger of being knocked out if he comes in reckless. Danny Williams also tried to swarm Vitali & paid a hefty price for it. Can this dude do it with tact... is the obvious question that will be answered soon.
