    many fight fans will probably forgive the Maidana debacle if he stops Berto in impressive fashion

    WAR ORTIZ!
    agreed, no more smiley Ortiz who has nothing but good to say. He looks more 'vicious' here so I hope this Ortiz shows up when he fights Berto, I would be happy if he wins. He looks genuinely pissed though.

      I still hope I'm wrong and he pulls off a shocker and knocks Andrea out.

          that chip on the shoulder is very evident...i like it...with all that talent, maybe showing a mean streak is just what he needs to get to the next level

            He heard all the critizisims. And understands, that this is one of those make it or brake it deal.

            He picked at tough SOB, to prove himself.

              an impressive Ortiz victory does two things for boxing;

              1. it provides another major player at 147

              2. moving forward, it puts the onus on Berto to stop fighting cupcakes and rebuild his image/career the way Ortiz is now

              if Berto wins, expect more fights against tomato cans

                Ortiz brutalized Maidana just as much as Madaina brutalized Ortiz. That whole fight was brutal, but Ortiz gave up. It had potential to be fight of the year.

                Also despite the judges, Ortiz beat Peterson. He was a bit **** in the second half, but it definitely was not enough to counteract the knockdowns.

                  This is bad ass. I've never heard Victor like this. I think he's finally fed up with the BS and flack everyone gives him.

                  Thank god I got tickets to this.

                    Andre Berto tough? I don't see it. He has been stunned badly by just about everyone that has been his own size. Not to mention he hasn't really beat anyone of note, and commonly picks on junior welters moving up (like Ortiz).

                    The most interesting thing from this video is that Ortiz has left 140 for good.
