haha, that's awesome. First time I saw him live in action I knew I must see more. Been a fan ever since.
getting to know him a bit more you can tell he has been humbled by everything that has happened. He speaks no ill will of Anne but in his eyes you could see he needed to move on for the betterment of his career and more importantly his sanity.
2 or 3 more fights(stepping up in compin each) and he's ready for a title shot. Him & Martinez would be fun
he's just the type of cat to beat martinez imo. picture martinez standing in front of him with his hands down shootin jabs from his waist. lets see where he's at in a couple of fights.
You know, to me his biggest and most important improvent has to be his composure. It will be scary if he fights with the same hunger but more composed thus improving his defense. Those times he was knocked down was because his carelessness , he wanted to land every power shot he threw.

It's been cool working with him so far.
That's cool I didn't know you were working with him. You'll have to drop some info from time to time for us Kirkland fans to feed on.
after Friday's fight the consensus amongst his team was that after April 9th he will take more time between fights to learn more from Kenny Adams his new trainer. They all thought he looked sluggish and a bit flat but think it's due more to him focusing on keeping weight down than actually learning.
If he matured that is a big improvement. To me his determination was always there but there were always questions about how seriously he took his career in the grand scheme of things.
Situations like the one he went through generally cause people to react one of two ways and if it affected him in a positive way good for him.
