This must be why the Donaire offer is "insufficient".

Otherwise, 300K is a very good payday for an unknown, Venezuelan bantamweight fighter, who doesn't have much KO power.

This is the smarter offer to take in the long term, not just some 1 off deal, but the Donaire fight is better in the short term, especially if he could pull off an upset (which is not the likeliest scenario).

That's pretty close because if he takes 300k to fight Donaire (and he thinks that he'll win), he's likely to make more money after winning that fight than with Golden Boy.

BUT the smart thing to do would be to take the Golden Boy offer in my opinion and go and box rings around whoever wins that tournament.

Why does Golden Boy spend their money on this dude.. B/c he's seen as a potential viable opponent for Donaire? I don't think this makes much sense, good for Chemito though. Gets more money and doesn't have to get pwned by Donaire.
