I have to agree, I am Hispanic and I am not a fan of him yet. I want to see him fight worthy opponents not shot fighters. Until I see him beat top notch fighters then I will give him more respect and maybe even become a fan.

Catchweights are usually set up to help the smaller man out, this time it was to help to bigger man out. I don't really have a problem with catch-weights that are reasonable, of course Id rather it not be done at all, but whatever, not a big deal. It's just the fact that the weight was conveniently changed when it turns out saul didn't make weight. Now Im not saying that Oscar didn't know Saul couldn't make 150, and he made sulaiman change the weight. Yeah, maybe Sulaiman just had a last minute change of conscience regarding catch weights. . . No, it's clear that he was struggling with weight, Oscar knew/found out, told sulaiman, sulaiman changes it to 154. BOOM, solved

The president of the WBC doesn't have the power to change a binding contract between the camps of Hatton and Alvarez. Their teams actually had to meet again to come to a new agreement because of Canelo's failure to make weight.

Now, Sulaiman does have the power to make decisions with regard to the WBC title, but that was never a concern here. I say that because the fight was always for a 154 pound belt, and both fighters are well below that mark.
