from what i read , they made the fight at 150 and wbc just tagged along with manny's vacant trinket.

i specifically say i blame jose sulaiman.
at least mayorga and picirillo were ranked at 154 and beat contenders in their career.
neither hatton nor alvarez has ever beaten a top 10 ranked fighter in any division in their entire careers.
- hatton never fought at division, never been champ.
- alvarrez never beaten contender.
- marg and pac were both multiple champions and extreemly accomplished fighters.
- so were forrest and mayorga.
- i dont expect canelo to say no, but id expect more of golden boy. shows they too do not have respect for boxing or boxing history.
too bad the 21 yaer old 154 lb vargas could not destroy this fake contender in an actual match.
