How can Floyd's fans be so blind? It's like having a giant elephant in the room, and no one will notice it. This fight isn't happening simply because of Floyd and no one else. Arum has nothing to do with it. If Floyd really want a fight with Manny, then he should do what Mosley did, and what JMM is rumored of trying to do to get a Manny fight.

The same can be said for manny my friend according to your logic manny doesnt want teh fight.... I thought it was manny that chose what he wanted???? lol

Why should FLOYD have to literally leave a certain company that he has worked with and has gotten him millions all because of some bull**** grudge that he has nothing to do with...??? I see arum as the punk kid that will take his football home because he gets shut down. Or take his basketball home because he didnt get picked...lol

He can't say for certain if Pac has 2 or 6 fights left in him...... Knowing this, Arum also needs to push in as many fights with Manny BEFORE that fight happens...... IMHO Arum wants this fight, just not yet...... IF a Pac/Mayweather fight happens, my bet is on late 2012 - OR Pacquiao's last fight, with exception to maybe a Mayweather rematch. Too much money for Bob Arum to make off of Manny Pacquiao first.

Side Note: The only way this fight happens sooner, IMO, is if people smarten up and stop buying fights that Bob puts on because it makes HIM the most money.

He's already stated that he doesn't give a "****" what the hardcore fans want. We need to remember that when we're pressing the BUY button. We, as hardcore fans, can say "NO, **** YOU Bob" by the only way he will listen, and thats by PPV #'s. (BTW, some people just want to see Pacquiao fight, and that's cool. But if you're someone who complains about what you're getting from Bob, then you shouldn't buy the fight. Period.)

I have no problem paying to watch Manny, hell, I'd damn near pay to watch him train, and Shane deserves the payday, I got no problem with that either.

So if I boycott that fight, which I should do, then I miss out as well as Shane and Manny

the **** will be streamed, you dont have to order it, thats how you stick it to arum and get him to be real....

I mean i like shane, and real talk i think the fight will be better than people think it will, but we cant have this **** no more, i mean teh fans arent getting what they want, but are being spoon fed bull****.

Shane is getting paid regardless if you buy it or not. Now he probably could get more, i dont know how they are splitting the payperview.....

Usually coming off a loss and a draw doesnt get you anything remotely a figter of his name would deserve.

Hell i even like manny, but we need to see the fights we want and that only happens when the money looks funny, when arum recieves less than expected consecutively he will change.

Pac/Margarito for a vacant JMW title left me cold, I did not buy that fight.

I didn't want Arum or cheato to benefit, nor Manny for that rubbish.

But Shane/Pac isn't as bad as some are saying, mind you, it certainly isn't as good as some are saying either. It is not a top fight, but Shane deserves the payday, I don't think that he will he seriously hurt, and he will have his moments in that fight.

He does have a punchers chance if he catches Manny early. But if he can't follow up, and I doubt that he can at this stage of his career, then the fight will likely cease to be a contest at that point.

Even if Shane knocks Manny down, Pac will get up and fight, no question about that. I can't see Shane finishing Manny at this point in time, and he will not win a decision.

I do stream the odd fight, I simply have no choice, we get very little boxing coverage in my country..... recent examples would be no Alexander/Bradley, and no Montiel/Donaire.

what makes you all think that he wont get to manny? Floyd is the best defensive fighter in the game and SSM was able to get him. It was only for those few seconds but he got him. Manny is no where near as defesive as Floyd. I guess what Im trying to say is that Manny is very hittable and you all are acting like he is just going to steam roll shane.
I think we are in for a shock ladies and gentlemen.
I do think that if Shane doesnt get agressive or cant get to manny by the 5th round then its downhill but is it really that far fetched to think that manny wont get caught before that?
and I know all the fans of manny will say that he is too fast and throws too many punches but that will create a lot of openings for shane and beleive me he will pull the trigger for those first few rounds.

So what Arum is saying is that if Mayweather stays with Golden Boy and Al Haymon, Arum won't make the fight. Yet, all the ******s/*******s on this site thought Mayweather was the one keeping the fight from happening.

What you newbies and Pac worshippers don't know is that until about a year ago (when he started to hate Golden Boy) Arum hated Don King and wanted nothing to do with him. Now, he hates Golden Boy and acts as if Don King is his best friend. He is doing that because he knows that King will not negotiate in the best interest of Mayweather, but in the best interest of Don King. That will allow Arum to control everything, including the issue with the drug tests. That is what he wants. Mayweather will not sign with Don King, so Arum will have to humble himself and negotiate a deal with Golden Boy if he wants to make the fight.
