Erik Morales is Too Hard on Himself

Erik Morales could have lined up an easy opponent, looked fantastic and flattered himself in flattening him, thus assuring a blip free return against Manny Pacquiao. But that’s just not Erik’s way. He’s an absolute perfectionist who never ducks a challenge and always takes on the very trickiest and toughest tests. It really unstuck him this time.

Manny Pacquiao’s fight against Hector Velazquez was also a highly risky venture, but for an altogether different reason, because the Mexican can slug, has a fighter’s heart, and one punch in boxing can change the best laid plans. [details]

This is why he's loved throughtout the boxing World... Because he's like this, I wouldn't want him to change and I think more fighters should be like him!

Floyd Mayweather fighting - Sosa, N'dou, Corley, Bruselles, and Gatti in the same time that Morales fought - Ayala, Velardez, Espadas Jr, Chavez, Hernandez, Barrera, Pacquiao, and Raheem is almost a different sport as far as I'm concerned.

Ayala, Velardez, Espadas Jr., Chavez, Hernandez, Barrera, Pacquaio, and Raheem all rolled into one fighter doesn't even come close to what Corrales is... And how many times did Diego get dropped by Mayweather in one sitting. The problem is nobody really wants to fight Ugly boy Floyd! Everybody is looking to cash out when Mayweather's name is mentioned 'cause they'll know that they'll be a bunch of nobodies after he gets through rippin' 'em a new *******! I've been sayin' this the whole time(check my previous posts) Raheem has been ducked the whole time, it wasn't some Buster Douglas story, nobody wanted to fight this kid because the so-called featherweight kings knew the truth would come out that it has been the crappy fighting the crappiest and everybody would go back to selling oranges! Asta la vista baby(lol)
