It stems deeper than that by the looks of it.... the money thing was just the last straw.

Just a lot of mismanaging and Rachel is not doing any help by separating the families. Sad to see the father welding metal for a living.
yeah Robert Garcia said before when Nonito use to fight he would have like couple of thousand left after everyone gets their hands on it, they seem to do very well now since they bought a very nice house etc. I mean Nonito's in a sport where it could end his career short because of injuries etc, he could very well end up broke if he just gives most of his money away, no doubt he's taking into account his wife and probably future kids.

I think filipinos, like hispanic people, are "blind" to family. Like if the family says so, dont go against them or do somethig they don't like because then everyone is against you. Im sure nonito wishes he was in better terms with his family but he also has to look out for his own well being and his wife's. If his family can't be happy for him without expecting anything or feeling entitlement to something then he shouldn't have to "buy" their affection for him

Just cuz they're family doesn't mean he has to do what they want.

maybe Mr. Marcial since his wife is the head of the family. hahahaha
why cant the media just leave them alone? why not concentrate on nonitos boxing career than his personal life?

this shouldnt be freaking magnified through the media, too much personal already and the concerned parties are, for goodness sake, family to begin with. nothing will be solved if you make the media as the third party!

Exactly. His first responsibility is for his immediate family nucleus, ie his wife, his kids (if any), and himself. Second securing financial stability for said nucleus in case of future uncertainty, and third, if there is anything left, the extended family, and that is just a little help here and there, fully supporting others? BS. Unless they are crippled, injured, or just plain can't do **** for themselves.
