Any decent fighter at 140 is a better option than Morales. I don't care who.

Amir Khan is fighting a top 10 guy who happens to be the european champion, is in his prime, unbeaten and on a 5 fight ko streak.

Maidana's power isn't that devastating and Morales is still a tough bastard. He can do well in this fight I believe. At this point he's about the same speed as Maidana with a lot more boxing skill.

I am concerned for his health but you never know about great warriors, he might pull it off.

my brain says maidana will win this one... but my heart is with erik.

me and you both, but realistically, unless erik comes back better than ever, he could seriously get hurt in this fight. Maidana is tough, relentless, powerful & big and Erik has not beaten top competition since fighting at 130 over 5 years ago. But if he could pull it off, it would be one hell of story, especially if it was followed by a couple more meaningful wins.

I hate it when boxers who are going to fight a legend, a veteran of the sport who is past his prime and they say, " A win over him will bump me to another level." If they fought them in their prime yes, but right now if Maidana beats Morales it will say nothing for him because we all know Morales is past his prime years. I am totally rooting for Terrible to surprise the public with an upset. Morales is a rough mutha with lots of heart and a lot of balls.
