Velazquez was not supposed to give Pac any problem, but he showed his guts and power in the early rounds. I'd say this fighter was not a patsy and Pac had to work for this victory.

If you ever heard of FLASH ELORDE! the guy was a filipino who beat some of the best! but it wasnt with technique and skill it was with pure heart and guts, sorta like pacman, elorde beat sandy saddler the guy who beat pep,if you thought pacman has a big heart this guy would be wobbling around the ring and still pull of a Victory he held the lightweight title for 7years straight before losing it.

I am really impressed with BRIAN VILORIA! too bad they didt televise that fight! it only lasted 1 round he almost knocked that guys head off.

I think viloria vs arce would be a good fight but viloria has to much power.

also they said hector velasquez never been knocked out! if the ref let the fight got he would have been devastated the guys brain was clearly rattled, Good job on the refs part if he let the fight go serious problems would have happend.

Manny isn't a natural 130lber at all. He's up from 108, and he broke down and stopped a solid 130lber who was strong and durable.

This clip shows why the stoppage was fair. Velasquez was rung, and seemed perfectly okay with the ref's call to stop it.

            Check the wicked right hook.
No beef here, it was just an observation. I have no problem with the stopage either, it just was not a brutal KO like many had suggested.

Hey kid! WHat do you consider as brutal then eh? Getting your brains whacked? Did you watch the fight or were you whanking at that time? Maybe the ref should have let Velasquez continue and PAC will simply make him end up in a coma.

Ever saw the doubt and gloom in Velasquez eyes? He trained for more than 2 months and kicked his ass but still PAC simply made him look patsy. lol!

The stopage was fine he got up at 9 the ref waved it off and the other fighter did not object at all. And if Pac continues to work on his right hand and uppercut only the best 130 pounders can hang with him. I think after his next big fight though he will move back down.

Exactly. Velasquez trained as hell for more than 2 months doing 150 rounds of boxing. That's suicide determination.

But when he got a taste of the PAC's power and unmatched speed. He realized PAC is just way too much for him. PAC made him look like an old man and simply sneered and smiled at his face. lol!
