A great trainer? Hardly.

Roger is a glorified pad holder. Take away PBF and you wouldn't even know that a trainer named Roger Mayweather even existed. Oh and the fact that he doesn't even speak coherent english nor gives any tactical advice during a fight doesn't help his case either. "Box that motha****a or Keep doing what you doing" doesn't count.

Who knows though, maybe all that gibberish he spouts is actually understood by people in his circle (I do know that him and Sr. speak similar dialects).

From what I see PBF doesn't even need a trainer. He can plump Ellerbe's fat ass in there and it wouldn't make a difference.

You know Freddie Roach trains Brian Minto? Chris Arreola knocked him the **** out last year very easily. It just proves that Roch is an awful trainer and Pac just makes him look good.

You can't "train" a chin. The kid got caught, it's happened to everyone, including Pacquiao. Remember when Amir Khan got caught and KOd, and then he never won any more fights and never became a world champion?

Floyd Mayweather Sr. is a great trainer, I like listening to his advice on the corner between fights. I know he gets a lot of criticism after the Hatton-Pacquiao fight but you just can't teach an old BUM new tricks. Roger, very good fighter in his day but chinny, as a trainer though he is garbage.
