I have a lot of respect for what Donaire's doing

He's doing the admirable thing with his legacy- the way a true ATG would do it.

He's cleaning out the division BEFORE he moves up, instead of just taking all the big money, big hype, easier cherrypicked fights.

Which is what I wish Pac would have done so I could argue that a filipino could be in the running for GOAT or top 5 ATG, but Donaire could take up the flag- he's definately got the skill and potential.. now he just needs to keep proving himself.

I'm backing this guy all the way, unless he starts selling out, forgets about his legacy and immortality to become arum's next cash cow.

I wish most boxers would do that, but truth is, when you're risking your life everytime you step in that ring, you're gonna want the biggest payoff possible. Its hard to say "no" to money and fame.

If Donaire beats Moreno and Agbeko/Mares, I consider him an ATG Bantamweight.

I like Donaire and all, but Manny's achievements at Donaire's age is incomparable. Potential top 5 ATG is ludicrous.

            huh? what?

if donaire had the chance to fight a cash cow like DLH, I guarantee he'd jump at it.

arum is in charge and he's guiding donaire's career same as how arum guided dlh's, wifebeater's, and pac's career.

You have to respect Donaire regardless.

He could easily move up to 122 now after beating Montiel. And you couldn't even hate him for that, he beat the guy considered #1 by The Ring and argubally the best fighter in the division.

The fact he wants to stay and clean it out is phenominal.

However, IF he got a Oscar style pay day offered to him he would most definitely take it. I wouldn't blame him either.
