Its not a "DENT'! Its a fracture of his zygomatic process. The muscular tension from the inserted muscles facilitates displacement of one portion of the bone causing the dimple or step-off on the skin surface. Not that hard to break if there is a direct and forceful impact.

That was one hell of a shot. U can see how much torque was on the punch by near excorcistic twist of Montiel's head.

I think he will get a CT scan to ensure no orbital damage. Then be scheduled for non emergent surgery. He will either get some mini-plates or wiring to reduce the fracture. Eye nerve and muscle injury is a huge concern.

they tried to make donaire re wrap but was unsuccessful. there was a battle over Donaires hand wraps before both got to the ring. it was a fight going on behind closed doors before the actual fight took place.

the commission also approved all of margs wraps. including the cotto bout. marg was in the green light to go against mosley but only mosleys TRAINER caught it.....which is sad.

First off you cant dent bone like that. If it is something broken, or shattered, then his entire skull wouldve collapse and crumbled.

not a dent, just a bruise. there are swelling of tissues around that area that it may look unnatural.. seriously if it is a real dent, it will cause some internal damage that would lay montiel be in the hospital in a state of a coma.. just my opinion.

it's a dent. (from a fully hand wrapped hand, in cased with a soft glove) it wasn't a broken bone just a dent as far as i can see. he also suffered a fractured jaw.....
