The fight wasn't stopped because of the mega-KO left hook. It was still allowed to continue after that. Then it was stopped while Montiel was on his feet soon after he got up from what should have been KO of the Year which the referee stole from Donaire.

i think the ref wasnt gonna let it end like that (both legs flopping and arms wide streched) when montiel went down...the ref tried to give montiel the benefit of the doubt, but donaire knew he could close the show N he did with his last two punches.
i wouldve called the fight off via KO just by looking at montiel laying on the ground having a seizureComment
