Montiel getting up had nothing to do with being a brave Mexican warrior.

Its not like he wasn't getting paid for it, its his freaking job!

bradley must be the king of all warriors at this point hahahahaha

seriously. montiel getting up = the same as zab judah. the only difference is when zab fell back down the ref DID HIS JOB and stopped the fight. (thats when zab started swinging at everyone in a rage)

bradley was cracked but in his mind he told himself **** no. i will not get taking out. **** this & **** everyone.....I will NOT lose this way. & he gained his senses back quickly. i guess this means bradley is the greatest warrior........

nah... the difference between montiel and zab was that zab had the wherewithal to sass the ref instead of getting his ***** together, montiel was basically out on his feet

No he was out of his ***in mind. Stop being culturally bias b*tch.

The difference here is that Judah's legs were flopping all over the place and clearly he had not recovered when he got up the first time.

Montiel is a warrior but i don't think its has to do with "heart" or "cajones". His a fighter and been knockdowned before. Even though his dazed/hurt, he knows he got 10 seconds to get up or he will lose. He wanted to beat the count, which he did cuz the ref stop and let him continue. Its a natural reaction.

                  Exactly. Its reaction todo so..

I bet if Cotto or Floyd got KOed and got up the same way people would be bashing them left and right. But its Montiel, who lost to a flipino. People are putting bandaids on it and making it less than what it is. They wouldn't have been called warriors round here. They would been called bum, shot, over rated etc.

Wow....a bunch of internet posters claiming a boxer who was a champion that got bombed and worked hard to get up and continue to fight..that he doesn't REALLY have heart...

you're basically saying you really believe Montiel would have simply quit once he got his cobwebs back

Montiel is a warrior... His head was dented in. He has never experienced what he did before and it was all new to him. I am sure his **** was ringing, hurting, but dude got up despite all of that. To get hit like that and to get up to risk being hit like that again is warrior mentality. You can't blame the fighter, you have to blame the ref, a warrior will not quit and will get up for more if he can.
