no one should take Mayorga seriously. mayorga doesn't take his **** talk seriously so i don't understand why people get upset at what he says. he is a clown and he knows it, its the whole point. after every fight he hugs the opponent and tells them he respects them. he is an entertainer, just enjoy the **** talk and the fight.

thats a bold statement. More likely Cotto take him out in around the fifth. Mayorga will look like he has been through a meat grinder.

Reason is Mayo's chin is cracked and he's already got mileage on his head and body. So there's really no telling in what shape he'll show up in.

As I said earlier, this match is going to be exciting until the bell rings for the actual fight. Then it becomes boring because it will be a one sided beating by Cotto.

I'm willing to put it ALL on the line for my guy Cotto. You can't take Mayo seriously at this pt, just like you can't question the heart of Miguel(it's so cliche but.. I digress). Ricardo Mayorga has always been an enhancer of sorts for boxers who needed some big time motivation on the comeback trail. In the ring he'll grant cotto every opportunity to shine because it's in his modest nature...eventually he gets put down like a sack of @#$% ~Queue body shot in round 8. Factor in the inactivity,poor lifestyle habits, and his sloppy conditioning & theres virtually no other alternative for a bum whose glory days are long past.
