chico's been stopped at least 3 times.

you didn't mention any of that fool- as usual. and you also didn't respond to any of the points in my post. why was chico rated so highly? who were his best wins? what hof type fighter did chico prove himself against pre-floyd?
He was. Back in 1996 against Poison Junior Jones. Although it was counted as a DQ not a TKO.

Chico was undefeated at the time Floyd fought him.

If we were talking about which is a greater win, Barrera takes the cake. But if were talking about dominating fashion then its the Corrales fight no doubt.

i've explained this already in this thread. but first off, stop using accomplishments of corrales after the fight- wea re talking about AT THE TIME OF THE FIGHTS, not after.

i cant talk to you with that horrible argument about how many losses someone had being how you judge a fighter. you have nothing about their wins/longevity at the top of their game.

look at the pfp list when diego was on it. most of those dudes were long time pfp type fighters. diego wasn't. we are talking about when these guys fought pac and floyd and barrera had CLEARLY accomplished MUCH more than diego had at that time. please remind me of who diego beat to really be ranked top 5 pfp?

angel manfredy? a solid contender who had never won a belt.
roberto garcia, a good win, got his belt- twas a solid fighter, but not anything to really write home about.

barrera had wins over morrales (hofer)and the unified beast hof fighter called prince naseem hamed. hamed was an absolute killer who had destroyed everyone at 126 and was supposed to murk barrera. prince had about 15 title defenses and unified the belts.

and I'm not even touching his destruction of kennedy and win over tapia salud, mckinney and a bunch of dudes similar to guys diego was beating

those are credentials that smoke corrales'

        i was being technical.

i agree with your post, but to me, dominating a lesser fighter isn't the same to me.

that's why I pick the barrera win.

floyd's win was excellent, I was ***n shocked. i was at a beni hahna in miami and they were showing the fight downstairs and I left the dinner to go watch it. the girl at the time wasn't all that impressed with me that night

Beating Barrera was far more impressive. No contest.

all barrera had over corrales wast that he beat erik and the prince besides that he just beat a bunch of good/ ok fighters but at the same time barrera had already loss twice to junior jones and 1 of them bein a knock out/dq of junior jones and not to mention that floyd and diego were still considered young fighters at the time and bein young fighters they both were ranked on the p4p list after4-5 years of bein pros barrera wasn't considered that great after 4-5 years of his pro career.
barrera is a great fighter i'm not dis***** that but i don't know why is he so great and diego so overrated and even if you didn't say so many on here have

to judge which was more impressive........you need to establish the quality of opponent....................MAB clearly being the superior fighter...............you can then go on saying which was a more impressive win......................

                    ok man.

you are aware that junior jones was a badass right? are you also aware that barrera reinvented himself and fought nothing like he did when he lost to jones right? he was a completely different fighter by the time he fought pac.

since you want to bring up that diego and floyd were both young fighters on the pfp list, why don't you also bring up that pac was NOWHERE NEAR anyone's PFP list yet he beat a mainstay PFP fighter, one that lasted a lot longer on people's pfp lists than diego corrales did.

so a guy who noone is talking about being a pfp type guy beating a real deal pfp guy should be a better win that a pfp guy beating another pfp type guy at the same weight. not to mention that mab was and always will be > corrales

look, I"m not trying to say corrales wasn't a very good fighter. but he wasn't a great fighter. keep in mind that the thread topic is which win was more impressive. i don't believe corrales deserved to be ranked as high pfp as he was at the time, and history has shown that to be true. i base my pfp rankings on actual experience and results vs true top tier competition. corrales had 0 fights against any top tier/elite guys when he fought floyd. ZERO, not one and definitely not two or arguably three like barrera did. being undefeated doesn't mean shi t to me if you ain't fought anyone.

by the way, chico is one of my top 5 favorite fighters all time. i rooted for him everytime he fought, especially after he came back from jail. but im not going to pretend he's something he wasn't.

i hate that snake bastard cuban that ko'd diego.
