In my opinion, race/ethnicity plays a bigger role than your nationality on how you act and the way you behave.

The reason is because that is the people you are always around, the people you live with and the people you learn from. Amir is always with his dad, uncle, etc. So he learns to act like them.

This is a bad move from team Khan I just can't see Amir getting to far without Ariza. Even he admitted that his big win against Maidana was because he came in with an excelent condition that night. He praised Ariza for getting him into such great shape and now this.

The problem here is that Amir's people think he is a bigger star than what he really is. They see him in the same level as Ricky Hatton, Manny Pacquiao, Oscar delahoya etc.etc. But he is not at that level. He may be one day but he is not as of rite now.

What happens if he is a guy from india? would you still say the same thing?

You don't necessarily call them "asian" even though they are part of asia. From my experience, I never heard such things.
