floyd himself said he wasn't thinking about boxing and wanted to take a vacation.
came from his own ****ing mouth. he doesn't want to fight.
You'd be tired too and not thinking about boxing if you tried everything to get a fight made against all the excuses made by the opposing team to not fight you.
Pitiful excuse. Watching that fight you can see that Mosley would have smashed the **** out of any Margarito that appeared. He cut his work rate down and hit him with huge bombs.
i disagree. margarito seems out of focus, not himself. not taking away anything from mosley but margarito was no way in a condition to fight mentally
Can you remember when people were claiming Pacquiao had lost his focus after his second Barerra fight. He had a bad match up against Mayorga, those things happen.
mosley is past prime when floyd got to him. same thing pac's gonna get.
Yuri Foreman is garbage, that being said I'm not trying to knock Pacquiao's win against Cotto as I rate it highly.
the guy was undefeated (which something you guys seem to use as a justification of greatness) and cotto was fighting on a new weightclass. regardless if you feel that foreman is garbage, that fight shows cotto ain't as a broken fighter as you guys claim.
It's funny that you say Cotto was on the upside when many people argue he lost the fight against Clottey. Neither fighter was on the upside in the sense that they were not at their previous level.
he still won. against a fighter who never really lost convincingly before. either way, pac also faced clottey. regardless who you think "won", pacquiao faced both of them
Iregardless of current level, Mosley was the man to beat at Welterweight when Mayweather fought him. The same cannot be said for Cotto when Pacquiao fought him.
mosley was considered "the man" cause of one win. cotto has been consistently performing at a high level, minus the margarito fight (where he could have been cheated).
I didn't say they were untrue I said they were unproven.
whatever you call it, you are still attempting to take credibility out of that statement when there is no reason to do so. there is no reason for greenburg to lie. he isn't gonna get anything if one side "wins" the negotiation. he wins if the fight gets made.
]Actually you sound more like the moron. The Cotto fight wasn't at WW. They MADE Cotto come in drained to 145[/B]. That's not giving him the best chance to win. Come in 2lbs under your natural fighting weight? I fail to see why there is even a so called debate about the Pac/May fight. They obviously sat down at one point and discussed it. Pac and his camp made demands and they were met. May asked for drug testing and the fight was off! Are you guys that ****** to not see some sort of red flag? Let's not forget Pac once said he was afraid of needles (yet has tattoos). It amazes me how anyone with a marginal amount of intelligence would be so willing to overlook the fact that a "clean" athlete is balking at taking a drug test! In any other sport he would be ostrasized and put under a microscope. If Manny asked Floyd to test and he balked I would think the same thing. "What are you hiding if you're clean?" These Pac and May fans are so blinded by their devotion to these guys that you're no longer using your own minds to think. I've paid equally to watch Manny and Floyd fights so I'm actually a fan of both. I hate Floyd outside of the ring and I think he's a total ass clown. In the ring he's among the top five of all time as far as "boxing" and a tactician. Manny is perhaps the most likeable fighter in a long time and inside the ring is a game ass pitbull. Both are great fighters! Something isn't right about them not fighting over drug tests! That is why it's not happening! Period! Stop acting like *****es and trying to make it more than what it is. Bob Arum knows who to call if he wants to fight Floyd just like Al Haymon knows who to call. Greenburg is NOT a representitive for either fighter! If you're not talking to Arum or Haymon you're not trying to fight either of these guys.
145 is still welterweight.
manny never said he was afraid of needles
the commission has already considered blood testing and their doctors have come to the conclusion that it comes with unnecessary risks and therefore did not go through with it. this was right after floyd asked for it. the doctors agree with pac that it will compromise someone's well being if blood is taken out too close to a fight.
be sure to check your facts before you come here insulting people.

Right or wrong?
and he regained energy right after the mosley-pacquiao fight is signed! he also came out with a stream when pac was booked to signed margarito.
seems like floyd opens his trap and talks about boxing in the media when pacquiao is fighting else and seems to be losing interest in it when pacquiao is free.

way to go floydie
pacquiao and his team didnt want to fight floyd after he beat marquez, why should floyd wait for him?
pac had his chance, he didnt act like someone who is ready to fight mayweather during the negotiations.

yes he did.
he compromised to floyd's 14 day request which is what floyd wanted initially. i heard he even went as close as 7 days. and don't give that no cut-off bullshit. the commission determined it present risks like hematoma. pacquiao shouldn't compromise his well being just because he is being unjustifiably accused of cheating by a bunch of low life woman beating scumbags.
floyd has been consistently bashed by the media cause it was so obvious that he's scared. was silent back then.
its ****ing hilarious he chooses to speak up when pac is already booked to kick someone else's ass.

yeah, 6months after the negotiations pacquiao told in interviews he is finally ready to take the tests with a 7days cut off.
during the negotiations in 2009 pacquiao wanted no tests 24 days before the day of the fight.
but when the espn commentator was asking him in a phone interview, if he would agree to the ost with a 14 days cut off, he said "giving blood weakens me".
roach said that pacquiao isnt ready to fight mayweather in 2009.

No Jackass! The welterweight limit is 147. If you're told you can't come in at the limit the fight is NOT at welterweight! You've obviously NEVER actually boxed a day in your miserable life. Do your research. Pac DID say he didn't like needles maybe not afraid so I'll give you that. If both fighters are taking the same test at the same time how is there a disadvantage? Get your head out of your favorite fighter's ass and ask yourself, why turn down millions of dollars if you're clean?

Manny Pacquiao: “I feel like I don’t need Mayweather to make my career. I fought the best and anyone willing to face me. I want it, and feel the fans deserve the Mayweather fight. I want to prove to everyone that it wasn’t me who didn’t want the fight. That’s why I made the concession to take anything [blood tests] he wants at any time. Even during the fight before the sixth round if he wanted! What else can I do? I hope we get the fight done soon. Let’s get it on.”
This interview were done a day before the Margarito fight and it came from Manny himself not from his waterboy Koncs. He was referring to the concession that he passed through Ross Greenburg in the 2nd negotiation that was not revealed to the public until now...
If Floyd really wants to fight Manny, he should have fought this man that he considered one-dimensional, no defense, come-forward-face-first, predictable, easy-fight with 5 inches shorter reach and 3 inches shorter in height midget back in March last year with no qualms and no demands!!!!
