just cause you got A level talent doesn't mean you're an A level boxer. case in point: Zab Judah.

never said peterson doesn't give people problems, but he doesn't beat A level boxers or get draws against them
True, but the likelihood of him coming back after taking flight and trying to survive for 5 rounds in a row is unlikely. And I suppose you're right about Ortiz. I almost went back to edit my post but it was too late. As for Peterson, my point of bringing him up in the first place is that Bradley completely outclassed him and made him look amateurish despite his advantages, while guys like Alexander, Ortiz, Kotelnik and possibly even Maidana would struggle. Khan and Bradley are the only guys who would without a doubt school him any day and possibly stop him.

        that's a hypothetical situation

I actually think if Bradley fights that sloppily against Alexander he will get his ass KO'd. He gets away with being off balance and lunging alot but someone like Alexander should be able to take advantage of that. I really like Tim Bradley, super exciting fighter, lots of heart but I think he is a brawler first far too often and one day it will cost him.

Yeah Ortiz is not very mentally tough. All the physical tools in the world.

I'll admit, timmeh is a beast, but his technique is amatuerish.

ortiz and peterson are B level boxers.
Peterson is as close to an A as it gets without power. Ortiz has A+ tools with a D for toughness. Peterson will have quite a few more chances to break in. He makes me think of Emanuel Augustus. Now Tim has flaws but he makes up with heart and speed. He out-toughs Ortiz any day. Alexander on the other hand is way more amateur because he fights in a straight line which still might be OK if he had a clue as to how to move his damn head out of the way.

You are right. Fighting is more mental than anything. The best fighters win the mental aspect.

I realize that, but come on, what do you think? Unless Ortiz somehow landed a lucky Audley Harrison type shot, do you, in your honest opinion think he would have came back under those circumstances?

Styles make fights, and Peterson possesses all of the qualities that made those guys look horrible in the past.

To the guy saying Peterson supposedly would've outclassed Ortiz in 12, what ****ing fight were you watching? Peterson didn't deserve a draw, yes he racked up a few middle to late rounds but it wans't even close, Ortiz dropped him and won more rounds. And go watch the 10th round and tell me who would've won the last two rounds.

Yes Peterson is a good fighter, any boxing fan with a brain will tell you that but don't sit here with Bradley's nuts in your mouth talking nonsense.

well well well, long time no see. whats good rome. I agree with you that bradley is better boxer, however i think its a little more evenly matched than your giving alexander credit for. I seen both fighter a few times and while i can say confidently that bradley is the better boxer, i can also say that alexander has more power and a better chin.

Student, meet Dood. Dood meet Student.

U guys should get together and write a hypothesis on why peterson is hypothetically an A level fighter.
