Regarding Mosley, IMO he is more dangerous than JMM even at this stage of his career.
Same as public opinion say that Mosley is to old for Pacman, they also say that this Pacman will be too much for JMM as this is not the same Pacman JMM fought. He is now much bigger, stronger, and has taken punches from guys that have weigh in almost 40 more lbs than JMM so it's a matter of who the promoters beleive will sell more at this point. Marquez can change that public opinion if he fight somebody bigger an beats him, which will than put pressure on Pacman side to make the fight. Whether they will make it or no we never know. One thing is for sure if JMM wants a piece of the pie (cash) against Pacman, it will be at 147.
I do not know what you call recent but before the Cotto fight Roach and Ariza have mentioned that Pacman will not return to 140.
True that JMM is the last person to come close to beat Pacman and probably he did won 1 of the fights but then is then and now is now, Pacquiao has gone 3 divisions higher while Marquez only performance.
Bottom line, if JMM is even thinking about Pacman, he will have to be willing to meet him at 147, fight somebody respectfull above 135, to help sell himself (not saying prove himself) and then probably he might get Pacman.
Don't give up your hope to see the fight because after Mosley, there is not too many offers for Pacman if PBF continues on vacation and Berto seems to not want to fight an elite fighter, Sergio is to far away for now.
One thing is for Sure, fighting Morales is a no win situation for JMM!!!
It might turn out to be a good fight, but he gains nothing!!!
Unless he wants an easy fight, which he deserves, but be careful with those so called easy fights.
