    Hbo > showtime

tho the action we pay to see is in the ring..im not to happy about this move to showtime.. hbo 24/7 is way better than fight camp 360.. hbo has better commentators, shows the compubox punch count, they put the camera and mic in the corner between rounds to hear the trainers .. imo its just better.. hbo puts on a better show!!!

Because it was designed by/for Mayweather. HBO's 24/7 without Mayweather's show boating, shyt talking persona is just stale. Every single 24/7 with him in it is entertaining. Most without is shyt especially when they make 24/7's not even about boxing IMO.

SHOWTIME is not even on the level of HBO and is second to HBO by a mile when it comes to EVERYTHING else. IMO it's the middle. HBO>SHOWTIME>ESPN when speaking of American TV.

The 360 is a generic off brand from the success 24/7.

Let alone already being technically destroyed and embarrassed by the one man that doesn't allow Pac to be the undisputed P4P king as Mayweather was before "retirement".

But I know they'll display old clips from 10 years ago of Mosley or make him out to be a Champion by replaying his fights with Hoya and Margarito and skipping his loss to Floyd completely.

I like the CBS move but hate showtime and hate that this fight got made and really hate that you have to pay for it. Pac vs JMM III is what should have been made. That or Berto, Martinez and of course Mayweather. Are we going to get another horrible year for Pac?
Wait til JMM will jump ship and distance himself from GBP, then you'll be assured of the fight.

I totally agree. This is about boxing, NOT pacquiao/mosley. If this fight is a big success it could translate into much more exposure for the sport as a whole, that includes the young bucks coming up and the old vets. This is HUGE, I hope it does sick numbers and cbs makes a long term commitment to the sport. In turn that will force HBO to step their game up and do the same on TNT or TBS.

This is so much more than just a pac/mosley fight. Now it all seems pretty clear, Arum had this move up his sleeve for quite awhile now, hence why JMM had no shot at getting the fight to begin with. Arum knew damn well he could sell Mosley's name to that CBS audience way easier than some little Mexican dude. This ppv is no longer about a ****ty pac/mosley fight is about bringing boxing back to the mainstream and pac - mosley can do that better than any other fight other than pac-may. Masterfull move by the old bobfather.

damn now there's even more pressure

Shane's gonna be tense as a mother****er in that ring lol

imagine the first time you ever saw Mosley and he's getting his **** handed to him by a midget

hopefully they will go back and see he was a beast in his day i doubt it though

How many times do you guys think they will show/talk about Mosley landing two right hand on Mayweather? "OMG he ALMOST knocked out Mayweather! He hit him with TWO right hands in a twelve round fight!!!

Seriously I'm really curious how they will portray Sugar Shane Mosley as anything other than a fighter who hasn't won in two years and is a former shell of himself.

I thought the same thing while reading the article.

And put me in the camp that prefers 360 to 24/7, unless Roger Mayweather is part of the equation. In that case, of course 24/7 trumps any show on television.
