" If you say that you've not slagged manny at all, then sure, whatever you say man "
Do I gotta dig my list out ?
Chill, I'm not hating on Manny. Like I said, Manny would have made a similar comment if asked that same question, and I have heard him say heaps of classy things in the past.
I just replied to that " how dare they hate on Pac " comment.
The fact that the extreme emotion directed toward Mayweather and Marquez more closely resembles hatred than it does genuine boxing critique, and the fact that almost EVERY SINGLE ONE of those nutcase haters just so happens to be an extremist Manny-fan..... is no coincidence
I got no problem, just pointing that out.
well, if you say you aren't hating on manny, in spite of your often calling him a fraud, a coward, etc., i won't argue with you. if you can't see the contradiction in your actions and words, then nothing i say can dissuade you.
there is no denying there are several people who truly hate floyd, and they make sure people know it. and yes, many of them are pac fans. (obviously not all since a number of people hate them BOTH).
but you seem to ignore the fact that Pac has also his share of haters, MANY of them Floyd fans (obviously).
I am the first to admit that i am strictly a PAC fan, so naturally, i tend to only focus on threads talking about him.
But for you to call yourself a boxing fan and focus mainly on calling out Pac fans when the truth is BOTH Pac fans and Floyd fans have their share of unreasonable followers, that's you not being honest to yourself.

Nope, I strongly disagree with your assertion that I am here to "hate on Pac". If I was, I would be requesting that you answer 7 questions right about now, and you know it
Give that one a rest huh?

All true, point taken.

I have no issue at all with you being " strictly " a Pac fan. I have no issue at all with any fan's that are new to boxing, or who have never boxed themselves.
My issue is with dishonesty and double-standards.
I also have a problem with fan's who condone PED use - no reference intended - or who condone glove loading. Jeez, WTF?
It never occured to me that I would ever encounter a problem like that with fan's of ANY sport, let alone the sport of boxing.
When did the world change?
" But for you to call yourself a boxing fan and focus mainly on calling out Pac fans when the truth is BOTH Pac fans and Floyd fans have their share of unreasonable followers, that's you not being honest to yourself. "
" focus mainly " ?
When did that happen ?
I occasionally click on a link with the word " Pacquiao " in the title.
I have clicked a lot of links today, maybe two of those links concerned Manny. I have commented on a number of different fighters, you would have noticed that if you weren't " strictly " a Pac fan. I am not having a dig at you dude, just pointing out that my 4000+ posts weren't all hate-mail directed toward Manny.
1.) I like watching Manny fight, I just wish that he would fight an opponent who could fight back It is not uncommon for a boxing fan to click on a Pacquiao link buddy
2.) If I encounter a dishonest flag-waver with double-standards, I will open fire..... end-of-story.
3.) Mayweather was a b1tch for marketing that bout as a competitive fight, and he was also a b1tch for re-negotiating the weight. But, Mayweather did not demand that Marquez fight at 147 when he was - according to his coach and conditioning trainer - a natural JWW who could easily make 140.
Roach and Ariza stated that they just cannot keep any weight on Manny, and that when he is training he needs to eat 6 meals a day including "anything on the table" with 3am/6am shakes just to stay at welterweight.
The 147 demand for Marquez is a b1tch-move, plain and simple, and I will not accept it. Manny just wants every possible advantage over the 37yo midget, even if he has to pull him up two divisions to welter.
There ya go, look what you did, ya got me started
I am not concerned with " friendly-fire " either, if that's what you mean.....
If a Mayweather fan also feels that Marquez should "go to 147 and take his beating", simply because "Manny makes the rules", when it is clearly not going to be a fair fight, when it is clearly not in the best interests of the sport of boxing, and when it clearly could not possibly enhance Manny's legacy.....
..... then those cvnts will get it too, capice? ^^

ok. if you say you don't focus on Pac, then you don't.
its good that you're calling out floyd for his move of pulling Marquez up two divisions, (though you ignored him cheating at the weight in spite of having all the advantages of weight, height, AGE, and fighting style) but what do you call Marquez for allowing himself to be manipulated so easily?
and apparently marquez didn't have problems fighting pac at 147. If pac is such a bad person for forcing marquez to fight him with such a disadvantage, what do you call marquez for allowing Pac to be so bad to him?

He is desperate for that huge payday, and too brave for his own good.
You telling me that Cotto was an idiot for allowing himself to be manipulated against his own wishes? Cotto clearly stated 147 if you want my title, or a non-title if at catch-weight.
Marquez is a fkn warrior man.
He can truly say.....
anyone...
anywhere...
anytime...
The same DOES NOT apply to Manny, nor to Mayweather.
TIP: Don't attempt to justify the 147 demand, no honest boxing fan would.
BTW, Mayweather did not "cheat on the weight", he re-negotiated the contract 2 weeks before the weigh-in. It's still the same b1tch-move, but he did not fail to make weight. Technically he met his contractual obligations, he just changed them to suit himself beforehand.
Read again, I did call him out for that, and I called him out for making that fight in the first place. That was a double b1tch-move.
But it certainly aint as bad as Manny's 147 demand.
