PASCAL has a great chin and a good right but this is not enough,his stamina is a problem,etc............anyway PASCAL-DAWSON 2 will be better than most people think!!!

I blame Dawson. If he would fight more often and show more enthusiasm for boxing, then he could be in some good fights. But he takes too much time off. He needs to be bumped out of the picture. Why didn't he have a tune-up or confidence builder fight since losing to Pascal?

With Cotto and Pac taking their next fights to Showtime, there is very little chance HBO doesn't buy Dawson-Pascal II. Their first fight did a pretty good rating for HBO, the fight turned out to be a slugfest in the end and it ended in controversy with the headbutt, and HBO simply has a lot invested in Dawson to simply turn him away like that.

If HBO turns this fight down, they may not be interested in doing boxing anymore.

WBC needs to stay out of it. There is no reason at all why Pascal shouldn't honor his contract then face Hopkins. If Dawson wins, Hopkins can face him for the belt. WBC is really overstepping themselves.

HBO has no choice but to buy Pascal/Dawson II or face losing more ground to Showtime. The WBC needs to stop promoting and stick to being a sanctioning body. The fight didn't end to an injury or DQ so theres no need for an immediate rematch. Bhop could've won a close decision but if he doesn't hit the canvas twice he wins the fight, plain and simple Bhop look in the mirror. We need more young fighters in good fights, sorry executioner!

if hbo don't pay for pascal/hopkins, gbp might jump ship to showtime too. but they can force hopkins to fight dawson if he beats pascal.

but if hbo does pay for pascal/hopkins, hopkins might jump ship to showtime anyways to fight bute and leave them with a pascal/dawson fight that no one wants to see without a belt on the line.

Yeah, Dawson should go do something to earn a title shot, because I'm tired of seeing him on TV fighting all passionless. I really don't think HBO is missing out on anything if they refuse to pay for a Pascal-Dawson rematch though because neither one of these guys are as good as Hopkins or the top guys fighting in the super six. The fight may be do high ratings because of Pascal's Canadian fan base. But it's a short term investment because like I said, he is the weakest link along with Chad Dawson from 168-175. And if Dawson won against Pascal, that would be a nightmare for HBO's budget because then they'd be forced to pay for a guy with no fan base at all whenever Chad fights again.

The best suggestion that I've heard is for Pascal to fight Hopkins in a rematch and Dawson to fight Cloud. The winners, then, can meet eachother for 175 pound supremacy.

After Hopkins beats Pascal he shouldn't even waste his time with those two guys. Fight the winner of the super six or Bute or retire. If people wanna claim he fights smaller guys because of that, then let em hate.

HBO needs to stop supporting these boring fighters with no fan base. I dont mind showcasing them but to pay them millions is what creates this false market for these so called fighters such as berto, dawson, bradley etc.
