Pacquiao Saves Vegas Casinos
Posted by Joe Roche on 01.15.2010
Pacquiao helps increase gaming for the first time in 22 months.
Manny Pacquiao
is widely recognized as the top pound for pound fighter in the world – but now it appears that he's also the pound for pound king of the casino. It turns out that Nevada casino's reported as 4.35 percent increase in gaming in November, the first time they've posted positive growth in 22 months. Much of the credit is being given to baccarat, which was widely played in Las Vegas casino's by people who had been drawn to the city for the Manny Pacquiao – Miguel Cotto fight according to analyst Frank Streshley.
Traffic from the Manny Pacquiao-Miguel Cotto fight last November in Las Vegas was credited as the reason Nevada casinos posted a 4.35% increase in gaming earnings, reversing 22 months of decline.

The next Flop Stank smoke and mirrors trick will be taking their dancing doggie Poochiao to fight overseas after this fight bombs. Mark my words.
Manny's next bum fight will be "overshadowed" by the 'glitz and glamour' of Manny fighting in foreign lands like another legend Muhammed Ali.
They'll try to get Manny to fight in Dubai or something like that. Watch and see.
then Pac fans can blow their wads in more ways than one to Manny being so huge he is requested to fight in other countries.
Arum will make sure his next shuffling carnival side show act for Wapakman is overseas.

You're an HBO exec, and the last 3 years have looked like this:
2008
Pacquiao- 2 million buys
Floyd- 'retired'
2009
Pacquiao- 2.1 million
Floyd- 1 million
2010
Pacquiao- 1.9 million
Floyd- 1.4 million
Who would you say is your cash cow?

It's funny how *****s keep predicting gloom and doom for Pac but keep eating crow when their predictions flop. Keep dreaming about the day your idol will find the balls to get inside the ring and face the fighter of the decade.

I really like this move only cause HBO needs to chill the *uck out! They have been way to involved with the sport trying to say who fights who and if not they won't televise things, this is a way to show them we done need them they the sport, if all of the PAC, Floyd and other superstar fights were on shorting we'd still order the ppv for it, let's give HBO the finger and buy the Shoshone ppv
