Would boxing be better if the Heavyweight division was seperated into two?

Because of the huge weight differences between fighters, competition has faltered.

By creating two seperate divisions, wouldn't it make for more challenging, compelling and competive fights.

    Here are my examples:

From 200lbs up to 230 lbs this weight division stands as the heavyweight divsion.

Then from 230 beyond, a new division by the name of, Super Heavyweight could be formed.

    What do you reckon?

I think Tunney has a point about the Klits though. Most tall heavies aren't as mobile or as athletic as them.

That said. The Valuev/Haye fight kind of backs up your argument. Haye being an outside fighter had untold trouble with the sheer dimensions of Valuev - nothing new there. And, Valuev in reality was doing nothing except plodding forward and flicking out a jab that wasn't landing.

what does it matter? most of the slobs at HW are overweight anyways.

In the tale of the tape they could have the respective tit measurements of both fighters.

They shouldn't add another weight class, they should do the opposite. Crusierweight should be removed. Heavyweight should be from 175 pounds and above... Hey that's how it was in the olden days and it worked out just fine, Jess Willard and Primo Carnero where as big as the Klitschkos are today... Just sayin.
