Chicago is close enough to St Louis and would draw in most of Alexanders crowd..and Vegas is close enough to Cali to bring in Bradley's crowd, both neutral grounds tho..

I guess SilverDome had some extra cash to blow
It's a real shame that Alexander-Bradley will not have the crowd they truly deserve.

Eventhough I live in Vegas I would still prefer it to be in Chicago or STL because Devon is proven that he can sell tickets.

Bradley (26-0, 11 knockouts) will not allow the flu to interfere with his training for Alexander (21-0, 13 KOs), and has no intention of withdrawing from the fight. He believes everything will be 100% come fight night.

Still well over a week to go and Tim's starting to come right.

This won't be an issue and shouldn't affect the outcome.

      I wonder if it'll affect the odds ? ^^

I'm a big fan of Bradley, but I hope this is not him setting up an excuse if he loses. I don't think this is something I would reveal to the press. It could give Devon an extra boost of confidence.

so there u have it people, when devon wins it will be because bradley had the "flu". let me explain something, when u are training, running, working out etc, your system gets stronger n will help fight illness, its like the best way to detox your body. so if bradley is getting sick while training, all i could think of is tht he is OVER training. i think he might be doing too much in training, maybe he's not getting proper rest, or it could be his diet. eating meat for a long period of time n then just stopping n completely changing your diet could fuc with u too. who knows, either way devon wins.

The most common symptoms of flu are chills, fever, sore throat, muscle pains, severe headache, coughing, weakness/fatigue and general discomfort. Stressful exercises increase susceptibility to flu. Meaning, if Bradley wants to recover pronto from the flu, he must rest... avoid stressful exercises. I would surmise that is exactly what his doctors would advise him to do for fast recovery. This would entail a few days out of training... it had to happen so close to fight night... damn.

At any rate, I suppose Bradley is in excellent condition and a few days off training won’t affect his performance.

Recovery from influenza exacts a toll on the immune system, heart and lungs. Although healthy adults rarely experience any lasting effects full recovery is still 4 to 8 days.

I believe Bradley is in superb condition before the flu, so full recovery should take shorter than average people. The few days out of training won’t do much harm to his preparation for this bout.

I still expect a good fight.

Strenuous exercises - WHILE you're training - weakens the immune system, since your body spends a lot of energy on recouperation.

If he has the flu now, and I'm talking about actual flu here, then his recovery period is likely to be long and he could have lost weight, muscle, some of his conditioning etc. The flu puts you in bed. You can't train when you've got it. And recovery can take weeks. It really knocks you out. See what I did there?

Getting the flu 10 days from the fight puts you in a REALLY ****ty position.

ManFlu is a terrible thing. Awful, horrible thing.

You can just about manage to complete Assassin's Creed 2 when you've got ManFlu.
