So Martinez is now "emeritus champion" or whatever? Anyways Martinez doesn't need this paper belt at this stage of his career, he holds lineal crown and HBO is paying $$$ for his fights.

It doesn't matter because Sergio is the real champion at MW by lineage. Even if Pirog, Zbik, or Sturm unified 3 belts they are just contenders until Sergio loses, retires, moves up, or becomes extremely inactive.
