Yes Caba was a unified champ and was rated in the top 2 in his division. I guess Cintron has done that plenty of times.
Juanma wasn't scared but did he avoid him? You bet your damn ass he did. Don't blame Arum or PRbest. If Juanma really wanted the fight he would have gotten it. But, he didn't want the fight. And, I like Juanma Lopez. I'm a fan cuz' he kind of reminds me of Tito. But, he avoided Caba
It was him who said "Who is Caballero" but at the same time fighting guys who were lesser known than Caballero. At the same time Caballero was the unified champ in Juanma division when he was there. And, yet he played that card?
Of course Junma>Berto. Again I'm a Juanma fan but in the Caballero situation he acted like like an Andrea(Juana).
What Is a promoters job to do?
We see this all the time,it isnt nothing new.
Pacquiao didn't want none of yuri foreman because he was "too tall",and after the distruction of paul williams he didn't wasn't none of martinez.
Does it mean that hes actually ducking them? Yet the guy he destroyed (cotto) beat foreman and is looking for a fight in september with martinez.

And, that tells you the difference between Cotto and Pac right? One guy is willing to fight the best while the other wants to hide I fight who my promoter puts in front of me.
Same difference between Juanma who hides behind the I fight who my promoter puts in front of me. While a title holder like Molitor said I want to prove I'm the best so I would want to unify against a fellow title holder in Caballero. Which Juanma thought a little bit more like Molitor or Caba.
unified in a dry division.what has he done afterwards is what you have to ask yourself.this guy wants a mandatory coming off a loss!
Juanma-Caba fight ship has sailed. As or right now there is no reason to fight. Again ala Pac-Mosley no reason. At one point the fight should have happen now nobody wants to see it.
When the fight should have happened was when Juanma was a title holder, Caba was a unified title holder and both were rated in the top 2 in the "dry division" one guy wanted it, the other guy played the "who is he" card while hiding behind his promoter.
In that one instance Juanma acted like an Andrea. In every other time Juanma has done very good. I like what he has done but with the Caballero situation kind of disappointing. Lucky for him he doesn't have to worry about it anymore.
wow cant believe i'm about to say this but for once I actually agree with something Cintron has to say.
Man, I am in agreement with you! Personally, I am not sold that Victor Ortiz can hang when the going get rough, like it did with Maidana. There is a lack of fire and killer instinct now. Berto should be able to pot shot Ortiz all night and make for a boring fight. I would much rather see Berto with Cintron! It would be Cintron's last hurrah so I think he would give it his all and we could see if Berto can hang with a true welterweight who has punching power...
Margarito isnt fighting until June against Cotto and Martirosyan is scheduled to fight already and doesnt bring what Berto brings(belt ,hbo date) Martinez and Dzinzuruk are busy with each other. Cintron has stated before that he can easily make 147 for the right fights so he obviously isnt too big for ww.
Spot on, Cintron is really a welterweight looking for a payday. He continues to callout Berto but cannot get any response, I wonder why?
To date, Berto's toughest opponent has been Collazo, and he really lost that one. So Berto's management team think they've got an easier target in Ortiz, but this could be an unforeseen banana skin just waiting to happen. Ortiz is really a welterweight boiling down a weight too far, a man with his frame should be in with a big chance against Berto, who's been far from impressive with his choice of opponents.
