Boxing in America is practically owned by foreigners. The upper ranks are dominated by Europeans, the lower ranks by Asians, Mexicans, Africans and others.
Why would a black American take up boxing get punched in the face when he can more millions dunking a ball or catching a ball?
It's interesting that most of the professional basketball players and football players are
blacks not 13% based on the 2009 census. One reason, because that's where the real money is.
