At 30 years old, with only 26 fights in his resume? the last four fights of which come from the heavyweight division...

... and he is RETIRING? That's utterly ridiculous!

He's just afraid someone in the heavyweight will kick his a$$$.

The one who picks weak opponents is HAYE.

      - He turned down Chambers, Johnson and Thompson to fight old shot Monte Barett.

      - He backed out of a fight with Vitali to fight the aging, plodding Valuev.

      - He fought old shot age 39 John Ruiz

      - He fought age 39 clubfighter Audley Harrison, who always lost when he faced decent opponents
Funny how you list all the facts down just like WladIsTheChamp and Steelhammer2011.

He won't retire. A lot of boxers are saying they are retiring, then don't.

bet me . or just hook me up with few mills)

in my opinion, Haye wants nothing from K bros, he's got enough money for rest of his life. he will just talk **** retired, and in few years when everyone will say Haye is a *****, may be then he will come back jsut for a fight with Wlad

imo the the heavyweight champoinship is still the #1 crown ***el of boxing. the divisions just has been a sack of **** these last few years. the second crown ***el is the welterweight championship. now with all that being said i think it is ****ing horrible for the sport of boxing that the 2 biggest fights not only in each division but in boxing period are happening because of ****ing non-sense. klitschko-haye, mayweather-pacquiao. its so ****ing sad isnt it....

                Two questions:

                1) Does anyone take Haye seriously anymore?

                2) Are there still people out there who buy his bull****?

David Haye is one of the laziest fighters I've seen in quite some time. He's also one of the biggest BS artists I've seen float through the sport in a long time.

He doesn't love this sport at all or he'd fight more than 1 every two years. He cares about his image. Who cares if he retires he hasn't done anything for the sport. Amir Khan was already talking about retirement too. How are you gunna be a boxer and think about retirement, to me that just makes you look soft.

Talk about it early in your career, I mean.

I think Wlad's just playing with him now. He'll give Haye what he wants so long as he gives up the retirement plan. Wlad's not avoiding him, he's just avoiding his rules.
