Doesn't Solis only have about sixteen fights? He should just be happy he is getting a title shot at this stage in his career. I am tired of guys who have not done much in their careers that want huge paydays and huge fights. Work your way up. Solis better perform after talking all this garbage. All of the Klitschko opponents have said that they will shock the world and were slaughtered in the ring. I respect Solis for his amateur career, but he must carry that success over to the pros to talk like he is Muhammad Ali or something. I think this will be a good fight though

You make some good points, he has only had 17 fights but the reason he is getting a title shot is cause of his amateur and Olympic success plus the fact that the heavyweight division is pretty weak at the moment, but i dont think Solis is just another challenger, most of the critisism around him is his weight issue, Vitali is a very smart fighter but if Solis comes in shape and has a good work rate, vitali will be in for the fight of his life, most would disagree with me but i think its gonna be a great fight, and if Solis wins then he can start demanding the cash he feels he deserves.

Don't sleep on Solis. He was great in the amateurs and knock David Haye out in the olympics. He has been moving slowly in the pros, but he is highly skilled and hard puncher, very accurate and smart. I think he will beat Vitali, providing he comes in good shape, not great shape but good shape.

If anyone thinks Solis will come into this fight in decent shape they are surely mistaken! I wish he would maximise his potential and come in shape one time and give Klitschko a good fight. But I cant see this panning out any other way than a Klitschko victory. I do think that the K bros drive a hard bargain, but they are the top guys at HW right now and the way I see it as a challenger you can either take it or leave it. Depends what is more important - money or beating the best.

Solis was getting outworked by 40 year old Ray Austin. One judge had Austin winning 86-84 and another judge had it a draw 85-85.

Wlad destroyed Austin in 2 rounds 4 years ago.

Solis is a real fighter, very skilled. The last handful to get in with Vitali had no plan to win, Solis has many. This one is years in the making, I look forward to it.

I am really confused and I really want a Haye fan to explain to me how he deserves a 50/50 cut? He really is like on a D level with what he has done in the HW division while both Klit bros are A level. And if I was running the K2 show Haye would get no more then 70/30 or go home and have a rematch with Audley, or fight Tyson Fury. And far as Solis is concerned he is a big fat blob who has less then 20 fights and has fought no one. Hell, he should be happy if they paid for his room and gave him meal money, which obviously would be a big chunk of change, to fight for a title.

I very much agree with your comment about Vitali beating him into a pulp.This Solis guy hasnt done anything to even dream about a title shot.So why is this guy crying over the contract amount ? He is a unknown and unproven fighter who at this present time doesnt deserve to fight for the championship of the world.

My question is..............what heavyweight contender or even pretender has done anyting to deserve a shot? Solis is the #1 challenger, dont they deserve shots?

apparently Vitali offered him less than what a mandatory is due....its going to go to a purse bid and Solis with be getting more than what he originally asked for (15%).
