Are Vic O's behind him already???

Victor Ortiz seems to have floundered quite a bit ever since that faithful night at Staples (Maidana's coming out party)

After his last outting I have to wonder......are his BEST days already behind him??? what's the future look like for Vic in your opinion??

I think they could be i think the Maidana fight has physchologicaly ****ed him up he was running from a pretty tame puncher like Peterson when it should have been him chasing Peterson down he still has plenty of time to turn it around just cant see it

physically IMO the kid has the best tools and size in his division and when he utilizes it he is devastating

problem stems from where he is mentally. I have a feeling he does not love the sport as much as he used to

Ya as Eaner says its mentally where his problems seem to be hes very talented like 1 big win in that division could turn things around but as you say he his very young has got plenty of time to turn things around maybe just take a bit of time away from the sport

I think that's the key.....he has to get that one BIG win to get his **** back on track.....but honestly I think it might be the thing of not having the passion for the game anymore......two weeks before his last fight I saw him DT Vta I was with my boys and he showed up to the club with some of his boys.....I talked to him briefly and asked him bout the fight he said he was ready and was gonna handle biz.....but I gotta wonder how many fighters are out clubbin two weeks before their fights???? im just sayin.....seems to me he should been chillin with just two weeks before fight time no??

I discount the Garcia reports only because there is bad blood over money there.....and business don't mix with friendship or the truth for that matter......true story!

Ortiz needs to refocus though like some of you on here I agree the kid has the tools but damn it they gonna go to waste if he ***saround too much

Victor Ortiz needs a good win !! Id say a rematch with Maidana or move up to 147 and face Berto, if he wins either fight it would turn everything around for him IMO
