We all know that the peurto ricans are the ones who made up the PPV #s. for the Winky Trinidad fight.

WW is a real good fighter.I would like to see him again in a high profile fight.

I love Winky but he hasn't fought in a minute. He's been looking for a high profile fight for awhile now. At this point in time he isn't a draw at all. In his last fight he lost hands down to Williams, who was later crushed by one punch. He didn't look good against Hopkins. He drew with Jermaine who then lost by more than one serious knockout. He's showing his age, just watch the Vargas fight. It would be nice tho for Winky to get one last chance, maybe against a Cotto, but quite frankly boxing is a business and Wright is high risk little reward for most big names.

The last time we saw former champion Winky Wight inside of a professional boxing ring he was on his way to losing a clear decision to Paul ‘The Punisher’ Williams at the Mandalay sportBay in Las Vegas, Nevada nearly two years ago. Winky is tired ass

Winky is right that people once avoided him, he was a tough fight for anyone, but now that he is no longer elite no one cares. And he's always been dreadfully dull.

Am glad his name was rejected by HBO, We dont want recycling anymore, Yes you gave us great fights but you also act like a moron when you got to the top by rejecting million dollar fights because you wanted more money etc, I really dont feel sorry for Wright at all.

Lol at all the Ricans on here bad mouthing Winky. I would've given Cotto more credit if he fought Winky instead of Mayorga, because the fight was offered to Top Rank and Cotto.

Winky sounds very bitter. He shound't complain to much, he eventually got tons of big fights and made millions out of the game. Add to that fact that he will evetually get into the IBHOF and be considered one of the stand out fighters of the last 10 years.

To be honest I can see why HBO rejected him for Martinez. Winky has been out of the ring nearly 2 years now, & last win was 4 years ago. And he's coming of a battering from a Williams, who Martinez KO'd. The fight dosen't make sense.

He should of fought EBU Champion Matthew Macklin last year when he had the chance.
