Lightweight contender Michael Katsidis is looking at a possible ring return in April or May of next year. Katsidis has been spending time with his family after the back and forth war with Juan Manuel Marquez on November 27. Katsidis came to the ring with a heavy mental burden. I'm sorry for your brothers but I hate it when people use excuses like this. You're an light fisted offensive fighter. You ran out of gas and lost period. The outcome would of been the same either way you look at it. I like Michael but if he wants to fight 100 miles an hour all the time he better start using more angles and start hitting his opponents with pounches they don't see so he can get them out of there quickly. If not the results will always be the same with top level fighters out there. He can bully and intimidate "B Type" fighters but will get overwelmed by "A type" fighters.

Soar loser simply can't accept defeat; If they believe that Marquez didn't Katsidis then, why not ask for a REMATCH? Instead of fighting another guy.

Cause they won't get it why waste time. If you had some knowledge you would realize that GBP's want this fight and they asked Kat's team to start some buzz. Kats destroyed Earl and Mitchell in front of their fans. Khan already said he plans to fight at home in his next fight. What more could you ask for to get excitement. This would be a garaunteed good show. With Khan coming out on top. Kats gets paid well for all the hard work he's put in. The British fans get their revenge and Khan raises his stock even more. Could also turn out to be a FOTY type fight. This is a good fight at ths point. As long as Khan is still planning on fighting the winner of Bradley vs Alexander after this I'm all for it.

1.fighting Katsidis who was KO by Casamayor and beaten by Diaz...Both Casa and Diaz was beaten by Marquez and still Marquez fought the loser, one dimensional and bum Katsidis.
What did Marquez gained fighting Katsidis????NOTHING!!!!!!!!
2.fighting Diaz who has 5 loses on his last 6 fights(beaten and battered by Campbell, and toyed by Malignaggi).
3.next fight will be against faded and shot Morales at 135 instead of Soto. What will Marquez gain in fighting Morales(KO twice by Pacman) on his next fight to be worthy challenger against Pacman...

if Marquez is seriously wants to get a fight with Pacman he should move up in weight and should be in the mix fight with khan, devon, bradley, maidana, berto and even Mosley to be worthy challenger against Pacman...Those fighters are fighting each other to have a chance to fight Pacman while Marquez is feasting on bum, and faded fighters in lower weight to get a fight with Pacman...He even price himself out with unrealistic demand against Pacman.... Manny Pacquiao is biggest fraud in boxing.

1. Manny Pacquia fought Oscar Larios. A guy who lost to Israel Vazquez by knockout at bantamweight. Manny Pacqiuao made him move up 2 weight divisions and still could not knock him out.

2. Manny Pacquiao fought washed Erik Morales and still lost. Then, he fought two rematches against an even more washed up Erik Morales who just lost a lopsided fight to Zahir Raheem. Pacquiao was afraid of Zahir Raheem.

3. Manny Pacquiao fought the weakest fighter in the light division, David Diaz instead of Nate Campbell. Campbell, Casamayor, Juan Diaz, and Michael Katsidis are all each 9 billion times better than David Diaz.

4. Manny Pacquiao fought the damaged left-overs of Shane Mosley, Antonio Margarito. Margarito had also already been revealed to be a fraud so he is not a world class fighter. Additionally, Manny Pacquiao once again demanded more catchweights.

Pacman is smaller fighter...if Pacman can fight bigger and stronger fighter...Why not JMM????if JMM has superior skills then he can do what Pacman did....Beat Cotto, Clottey and Margarito...Why go back at 135 or move up to 140 only to fight faded and shot Morales??....Fight Berto and make a statement that he is competitive at higher weight....Since both Berto and Marquez badly want Pacman then fight for the right to have a chance for a fight for Pacman....Berto needs a name fighter for his next fight and that is Marquez, while Marquez needs a good WW fighter on his next and that its Berto....Both fighters have no scheduled fight yet....Berto vs Marquez should happen!!!!!
